Your computer specs might also come in handy for those who are good at troubleshooting (I'm definitely not lol), so I would recommend getting those as well. If you don't already know how to get that info, you can get most of that by hitting Win + R to open the Run application, then typing in "dxdiag" and taking the "System Information" from the first tab and the "Device" information under the second tab (Display).

Thanks but i will just look into the logfile.txt. Can i ask you something also? Are you good at making Emergency Cars And Maps?

  2. Just played on a mod on Emergency 4 today and somehow I crashed when I clicked on ''Back To Station''. I told TheNorthenAlex about the issue, he said ''Look into the logs'' And where in the Logs, where do I find Crash Reports in the logs?, and how do I fix the issue?!!!

your question involves emergency 4, though you posted it in the emergency 2012-13-14 section, I would recommend asking a moderator to move this thread to the emergency 4 modding support section.

    sure

No, it is used widely in the remote support world by businesses and for remote access. It's safe so long as you:

    1. Download it from a known good source, like logmein.com...not from some random page or pop-up. If it's Logmein Rescue, which is often used by remote tech support, the download may come from that company's website, which is okay, so long as the company is reputable. If you don't know the company is reputable, then you shouldn't be granting them access to your PC.

    2. You don't grant access to your computer to anyone you don't want in there. Remote access programs (if they are downloaded from a good source), are only as dangerous as you allow them to be. If you let some stranger into your PC, then its like letting someone sit at your PC IRL and work on it. If you wouldn't let an individual sit at your PC right now unattended, then I would not grant them access.

Whether or not this whole thing is safe for you is dependent on the situation. Are you using logmein for yourself or to let a friend onto your PC? It's safe. Are you using logmein to let a reputable company help you with a support issue, (ie. A reputable software company asking you to install logmein so they can diagnose or fix a problem)? You're okay so long as the company is reputable. Is it some random company that you go this cheap piece of crap software from that never worked? Is it some random company that says they can make your PC faster or fix your OS problems? I'd be more suspicious here. Just use caution.

I heard logmein gives you access to online em4 servers.

Before I moved on to EM5 I thought of doing a LS, LC, or VC mod, but I just didn't have any resources especially models, nor experience. I look forward to this mod. Hope it goes well for you!

Emergency 5 does not have many resources, that's also the reason it is rare to get new mods for EM5, Emergency 4 has more resources.

Remember credits, and you'll be all good ;-)

Good luck! There's a number of tutorials around the site, and feel free to post if you have any questions or issues.

Am I on the wrong topic to place this kinda Mod announcement? General Talk is the wrong topic to announce mods I think.

  7. I am thinking of copying Los Angeles mod and editing everything, the map, the emergency cars. I do not attempt to just copy right the LA modification, I Will change the look of the map and the emergancy cars. Also, the mod is a suprise, Los Santos Modification.

Credit goes to Hoppah for the LA Mod.
