  1. To me it looks like you only modeled one side of the truck. Just guessing but on a completed 3d model you wouldnt see the black section on the rear of the cab because the side would be covering it.

    Don't think that is what he is talking about, he is trying to skin th box but the box is not showing up. The couple little pieces that are showing up are what are left from the default model, he needs to change that in materials.

    i have a little problemo with zmodeler if i have selected the polygons what i want to uv map and i click on edit uv en then generate new, online a little thing shows up but that isnt the polygon what i want to uv map so i dont know to explain it better so i have a screen for you guys

    It looks like all that is coming up is part of the default model, looking at the bottom right box, click on the materials tab in the bottom left corner, pick another option other than the one its on. This should help.

  3. When playing freeplay and online, the units always get stuck or stop in the middle of the street which blocks traffic. I am not sure why this happens, but I have the 911:First Responders edition of the game. It usually occurs in the COM 9 building in the northern part of the city. The pedestrians huddle to the doorway and it causes a jam. Whenever I try to get them out or something, more pedestrians come in and make a bigger jam. Sometimes the pedestrians will get stuck in my EMT strecher or stand ontop of my doctor which prevents them from moving. Sometimes the pedestrians do not move out of the way from my vehicles and will usually get stuck in the vehicle preventing them from moving. Does anyone know of a fix or a solution? I would greatly appreciate it!

    Hey I think I can help you, go to the building in the second pic that you posted in the editor, the path ends at a weird point and the sprites don't delete at the end of the path, just delete the last 2 points on of the path. This should end the path on the sidewalk beside the building. Also check anyother spots that paths may be block(eg: did you add a building somewhere in the middle of a path, if that is the case move the path around the building you added) Anyhow this should help, if you need anymore instruction let me know.

  4. Is it possible to have/has anyone created quints?

    Yes you can do it and i've done it, however i could only do it using the principal idea from Hoppah. How it was done was using one of his original water tender designs. Originally the truck was equipped with a water cannon, if you wanted hose connections you had to click on the hose connections icon and you could then connect hose. I used the same principal and had the initial truck as an aerial truck, when you clicked the button you could then have hose connections. There was a limitation in that you could only use it as one at a time, either the ladder or the hoses but it made it cool if you had single truck halls on your map.

  5. Well reason I ask, the cops made several runs to an apt in my complex the other day. Guy in the apt was drunk, girl wanted in. Had called the cops a few times and the cops were fed up and pretty much told the girl tough luck getting in. She called back later saying the guy was threatening suicide. One cop car/2 officers showed up, AMR never stopped at the scene, just circled the parking lot. They didnt take the guy into custody nor to the hospital.

    Well it differs a bit here. Call tones go out, trucks dispatched, and when the truck(s) say in route, dispatch gives them any extra details, and then says all further traffic on TAC X, and depending on the department they go to Tac4,5,6,7 and possibly 8, cant recall off hand. At times they do as you say and if they get on scene and find an actual working fire, then they will say switch to TAC X.

    Ya somewhat like the guy above answered, but he is talking alittle more about talk around channels for single channel fd's. What you are talking about is larger dept.'s multiple channels. So just like you said when being dispatched to a call they will be given a channel, when the next truck goes out they will be given a tac channel and so on. This way they can have much more activity in the city and don't have to designate channels just give them as needed.

  6. uh sorry, but it is as much american as it is german. they have 2 versions! EM4 and 911 first responders.

    I would disagree, just because it is offered in english it is still a European based game. Every model in the game is European, from the persons, to the vehicles to the buildings.

  7. I seen in another thread someone said something about having to unlock the camera codes in the game editor...but there wasn't any directions so does anyone have some? I already know how to change the actual codes so all I need to know how to do is to unlock the codes. thanks whoever helps =D

    I don't really get what you are asking but to get your new camera hack to work in the editor you need to uncheck the box "camera paramaters"(I think thats what it says) or something close to that.

  8. well lets see here. The biggest ladder that i know of.. well that would be in MY hometown of Pittsburgh Pennslyvania! Monreoville 5 has a 135' ladder. Straight stick. Yea it can top most of the 8 story buildings around here.

    The tallest aerial device that I have heard about was 210', but I can't remember where it was located, Montreal Canada has a 165' bronto on a tandem-tandem chassis. There is a video of it on youtube.

  9. Its nothing, 1 hour on a saturday. I have a tender also, just depends on the cab that Toronto uses... you guys can most certainly have the back of it.

    Also, i just made this;

    Any mod can have it if game logic supports a mid mount tower, im sure they have at least one in Canada...

    Well TFS does have 2 mid-mount aerials 321 @ 324. But the problem lies in the game itself. I have tried countless things to make a mid-mount and have not had success.

  10. I've been learning some things about modding, and a mod idea came to me. Would anyone be interested in helping out with a mod based on Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Don't be mistaken, I'm not asking for someone to do the whole thing, I will be doing it, but need some help.

    I had made this about 2 years ago, didn't release. Here are the rigs, what do you think?

  11. I love the look of this mod, and your new super truck, could you place the whole mod up for download? Including the super truck when you are finished working on it?
