Introducing the Montana Submod, formerly known as the "Chester County Submod". Based off of Los Angeles Mod and 911: First Responders or Emergency 4, the Montana Submod is being developed by myself and includes many new vehicle and personnel schemes, as well as several new 3D models including vehicles, structures, and equipment; audio effects and GUI have also been modified. The Montana Submod is set in the fictional county of Chester, Montana, United States, which in reality is located in Beaverhead County, MT, United States. The schemes (textures) that have been created for all of the new units are fictional, but realistic; and, in some cases, inspired by real-life schemes. The objective of the Montana Submod is to provide the player with control over the emergency responders of a small-town United States locale. The Montana Submod has been in development since December 2010 and remains in the late development stage with a target release window of Q4 2012, with a Beta version becoming available beforehand. I thought you guys might like to know that I have created a 911: First Responders / Emergency 4 configuration tool!

It allows you to configure screen resolutions, camera angles, tweaks and freeplay parameters, and might have other features (please make suggestions!).

I have just released the fourth beta, which changes the branding and colours a little.

Please tell me what you think, what needs improved/added and if there are any bugs or problems. Place the software in the directory in which the game is installed, or select your game location when you start the program.

I like this very much, but i have downlaoded it and it is trying to find .cfg files meaning that i can not open the freeyplay files to edit it, can you please help.

I like what i am seeing so far, i cant wait to download it for the first time.

i had a problem with my computer and lost my la mod v 1.9 is there any one out there that can send me a version of it as i really want it back or know how i can get my hands on it. Please if you can help i beg of you to. Thanks ajk.

Didn't V1.9 use almost the same installer?

You can't get V1.9 anymore, but I have it. So if I am allowed I will email it to you.

can you email v 1.9 to me aswell please as my computer went tech and i was deleted.

And are you using patch 1 for la mod 2.0? If so thats the problem I believe. Patch 1 contained some fixes for the traffic jam but have made things worse for a few people. Are there random cars(around the pd station and fire station) that dont move?

No it just that you get ques building up into the intersection, whic means other cars cant go, or two cars have tryed to cross the same path. I send a police unit down and try to re direct traffic and that dosent't work, i feel with less traffic i wouldn't have these problems.

I am having a massive problem with traffic overlode. I get traffic jams everywhere, and then when i get a fire or any other emergancy, my units cannot get through the jam. Also that when i get fires all the cars in a jam blow up creating a mess. Is there any way in whic you can reduce the amount of traffic on the raods. Please help.

well it's just a thought.

I think that you can never have to many police stations, but then you would take out all the fun of attending calls if you had police stations everywhere. But a port patrol would be good, and maybe a court house so these criminals can get sentances, and then a county jail of some kind to put them in.

What about maybe giving the emergancy untis a bit of free will and allowing them to do what they need to to complete the job. E.G. if the police are inpersuit of someone then they themselves can call for backup or for the helicopter, or maybe that they call the relevent services on their own like a fire engine for a fire. And finally set it up so that if a job does come in then the services will respond rather then me teeling them to do that.

Also is there anychance of installing fire alarms in buildings and having to attend jobs in realtion to them?

or something like that, cause you get the lightning strikeing the tree so would be good to have other natural disartes. Another thing do you get snow on this game and also different seasons?

I sthere anychance of the river flooding during heavy long rainfall or puddles appearing on the road like we do in real life?

Its even worse when you get a car fire and the tow truck can't get in to take it away.

It happend to me with the recovery truck. It didn't matter what i did it just didn't move.

It will be interesting to see that mod.

Have you maybe thought that your computer maybe infected and therfore infecting the files that you download?

Sometimes if u leave the officer there in there vehicle then that will be enough to keep order at the lights. But i also have the same problem and it gets annoying after a while as i find that my vehicles can't get through, to where they need to go.

As a newby to emergancy 4 i found it realistic and fun to play with.
