Hello everyone, as we head into December I thought that I would update you on a few things, the mod is coming along well and is looking to meet the scheduled release date that I am looking for (I am not going to say when that is but rest assured that it is 2016). We have added new scripts, new vehicles, new peds and some new icons (some shown in my video of 1.2)  but unfortunately the one thing we have not added is a brand new custom map, however I have been working on adding to the current map with new and updated areas, updated station locations and layouts and a lot of small details inside and out of buildings that you will have to find for yourself when playing the mod.

I would like to apologise once more for the delays in releasing this mod, unfortunately due too real life commitments etc it has taken a long time to do what appears to be not that much compared to some other projects, It may not be as polished or have as many unique features as some other mods but rest assured that myself and the rest of the team have been working at the best of our abilities and in as much of our free time as possible to ring you this mod that I hope you will enjoy once it's released.

Thank you to everyone who supports this mod and also special thanks to PottyScotty for helping me when I have had questions about modding in general and for allowing me to continue his project.

I hope you enjoy this mod when it is released later this year and keep watching here for screenshots, gameplay and announcements for streams in the next few weeks.

I've just downloaded and played the latest update and WOW! It's absolutely brilliant. Of course, I still cannot wait until the return to base button is added but what you've done so far is great! I look forward to seeing how this progresses in the future. I'm very excited.

Did PottyScotty give you permission to use the image you have in your signature, because if not it is something that I made for Pottyscotty and only PottyScotty to use and you should not be using it as your signature.

 

Although I do allow people to use both of my signature pictures in their signature on this website as stated in my signature.

I'm sorry - didn't know it was an issue. I looked for a supporter version but couldn't find one but now that I've found yours I will use it!

Will there be a future update for the mod? And will there be a return to base button?

I sure hope there will be...

Edit:

I've been fiddling around in the editor but I can't figure out how to have a unit return to a location on command. Surely it can be done in a similar way to how the ambulances in the Kent Mod go to the hospital with a patient or police go to the station with a criminal? Could anyone please guide me on this? I've had a look at the scripts from the LA Mod but I haven't yet figured out how it all works...I am new to all of this after all!

Nice! I really hope that this mod will continue to be developed because it has great potential. So far, it is a brilliant mod - if the bugs could be fixed and a return to base action included for units - this would be the best UK mod for Emergency 4!

I enjoy this mod so much that I have played it for several hours, even though I need to reload the save file after most callouts, because manual parking of vehicles is far too tedious to be fun.
