  1. I'm not 100% sure here, but let me ask you this: What's the format of your RAM? If it's a more modern format, the game might not know how to handle more advanced RAM and therefor may think there isn't any at all. My theory anyway
  2. It never hurts to update your driver every so often, problem or not
  3. Yes, all you have to do is make sure you name the sounds right. You could put any siren for any vehicle. You could have the Q siren on a police vehicle. It's up to you
  4. I know, just trying to add some humor and maybe instigate a little
  5. I'm not talking about your stupid Brit scouts, I'm talking about the scouts of America. I'm comparing your ACF to one of my country's organizations
  6. There isn't even a senior rank... WTF are you talking about?
  7. And neither you do. All the ACF teaches you is how to safely handle, clean and shoot them. This is just like what JROTC and the scouts do
  8. You're 14. I don't have much idea of what goes on in your country, but I'm almost positive that you're just in something similar to JROTC or Boy Scouts or something. EDIT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Army_Cadet_Force I'm gonna say this topic should be closed. All its doing is causing trouble. We've already established that a maw deuce will not be mounted on the HMMWV's in the game. End of discussion
  9. Do you even know what you're talking about? Javelins are a very user friendly weapon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FGM-148_Javelin In 14 year old language, that means there is a rigorous safety checklist before the warhead actually detonates. That means YOU (not the weapon) have to screw up BIG TIME in order for it not to hit your target. http://www.zimbio.com/pictures/2kvYqEA60qt/British+Paratroopers+Injured+Patrol+FriendlyThere's one where your Brits fired on themselves. How about that? In an open front war, fratricide is inevitable. While we try to keep constant communication with one another, there are times where communication breaks down and people get confused. You sit there and say the Brits are better because the US commits fratricides. Well, guess what, your guys do too. As does any other country that has experienced war at one time or another. When fratricide happens, it can be whittled down to one of three things : 1. Human error 2. Intel error 3. Pure accident So cut the punk routine and get back to topic that you started
  10. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2007/nov/27/military.world How about that, not only did they miss the Taliban, but were so off target that they hit a friendly encampment over 1 MILE AWAY
  11. I know. I just want him to explain what he thinks he's talking about. I honestly wouldn't know. But let's see .. So what say you, erfd?
  12. Also, if your personnel exit the vehicle, just use the control panel to raise the alarm. All vehicles will be populated OR use the battalion chief to dispatch units. Either way works. Reading the user manual will show you where the control panel is and how it works
  13. I guess I'm confused about what you're pissed about. If by blue on blue, you mean fratricide, then yes. It did happen. It was the first fratricide we had in a long time and it has been for a while I think. I guess I'm also confused as to what you mean there
  14. You (according to your profile) are also 14. Do you know everything about 9/11? Correct me if I'm wrong, but he never said he knew EVERYTHING about 9/11 and the stuff he's put out (about 9/11) is accurate. @Britisharmycadet- I am still irritated you threw out that the American military shoots its allies. If you're referring to the incident where the USAF pilot fired upon a British convoy, then get your facts straight. The convoy had not been announced to allied troops, so when the pilot radioed in, he was told that there were no friendly forces in the area. If you REALLY want to put blame on someone, put blame on whatever Brit dropped the ball in communicating their operations with everyone else. Give me another instance when the Americans committed fratricide and I'll reply with an instance when the UK did the same thing
  15. PC: Sims 2 (I have 3 but I don't like it. EA and Will Wright dropped the ball on that) SWAT4 911FR(obviously) XBOX: COD- Modern Warfare 2 Borderlands Halflife 2 -EP1/2 Portal The Hitman series FAV: Fallout 3. This is, by far, the most original game I have ever played. The shear openness of the environment is staggering. It has so many little hidden things, I wouldn't be surprised if it had been in development for the past 10 years. I've played for over 250 hours over the past year and a half and I'm STILL finding new things. PM me if you want to talk about it, I could talk forever about it
  16. I know this sounds tedious, but this is what I did the last time I had a problem: Make copies of all the files you altered. Uninstall and Re-install the core game. Start a new freeplay, save it, close the program, start everything back up and try loading the game. If all goes well, install LA Mod. Start a new freeplay, save it, close the program, start everything back up and try loading the game. Repeat this process for every alteration you make(besides uninstalling EM4/911FR). This should help you find what submod or alteration is causing the problem.
  17. Well, in the US, some high schools have the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps(JROTC). It has the word "reserve" in it and involves the armed forces EDIT- @ERFD: No offense, you're also American (as am I) and can't say much about what country does or does not have in its schools
  18. Yes, in an extreme situation maybe. They wouldn't mount an M2 though. They would probably mount nothing more than a M249 or M240B. Using a .50 cal. bullet on personnel is against the Geneva Convention
  19. we'll resurrect Napoleon and have them dual with Wal-Mart swords
  20. Your right, let me add to that.... No mounted weapons during a NATURAL DISASTER in the USA.... or anywhere for that matter. Plus, most of those soft tops can't be outfitted with crew served weapons Also, that was a medical unit, not a combat unit. They wouldn't mount anything on the HMMWV's anyway
  21. Are you running a LEGAL copy of EM4?

    Tea

See, I'm just a "black coffee with sugar" kind of person. No fuss, no muss
  23. It shouldn't as long as you don't play them. I would delete them just in case. Also, you may want to try updating your graphics drivers. This seems to be a recurring problem with Win Vista and 7
  24. These athletes are also on their own track and not out in the public world. Not to mention the track is thoroughly inspected. This sport is no different than, let's say, drag racing. And the words "inexperienced" and "Olympic athlete" should not be used in the same sentence.
