Hi!

So, pretty much what is in the title. Why has EM5 had a lot less popularity than EM4? Is it less enjoyable? Is it that there just aren't that many mods? (And in that case, why are there less mods? Is the editor worse? I'm not a modder, so I don't really know about it)

For me, I've played EM5, and I still find myself playing EM4, and not EM5. And there are almost no mods for EM5, and there is still more content in YouTube and such about EM4 than about EM5. Oh and there are still mods comming out for EM4, and not so much for 5, too. So I assume that EM5 hasn't been too popular.

Why do you think it is like this? What would have made EM5 better than EM4?

I live in a small town (14000 habitants or so) near Bareclona, in Spain.

Fire Dept: We have a volunteer FD (ADF - Forestal Defense Association) with a 4x4 and a MAN firetruck. As it's volunteer, almost always needs to come a professional FD to the scene (whose firehouse is at 15-20 mins far).

Police: We just have patrol units on our local police fleet, and in a normal day we have about 10 officers in patrol. To handle big incidents or if there's need to have more units, an investigation etc we have the "state police" which is the police force that handles all the territory of Catalonia.

EMS: We don't have local ambulances. Here only big cities have local ambulances. The ambulances (SEM - Medical Emergencies System) handle all Catalonia, and to my town, they come from a station or hospital which is at 5-10 min. For most urgent emergencies we also have a helicopter.

Has version 1.1 been released yet or we still waiting on download links. I checked the first page and did not see it on there and the link a few pages back was for the first version.

Methuen mass mod verson 1.1 will not be released until we can get all permissions, due to recent copyright issues on emergency planet we will be waiting to release the mod until all copyright issues are figured out, please keep watching YouTube for updates if been posting updates on there!

Great vehicles but the orange front flashes on the ambulance right above my comment look so weird almost like two eyes or something.

Looks like EM4 is getting another great Mod, as for the ambulance looking at a reference picture I guess the only thing i find is that you could make the brackets a bit smaller on those front flashers.

Actually here in Barcelona I've seen those two ambulances, including the one they did for the mod and the one in the photo with a thinner lightbar. I don't like the first one too much, but it's an old ambulance and they don't have enough money to replace them.

Thanks EmC-Unit you should see the ones I don't have installed;) and there were two errors when I checked one protest failed aswell.

There is an em4 configurator Which shows what's delux and what's not aswell on the download section here.

I'm facing this for a first time, but my easy gues would be - you have a deluxe version event (for ex leaking hydrant) on a freeplay map. 

 

P.S. You can attach log file via "Attach File" option, it's kina more fast and easy for the receiving end.

If you already have the normal version I don't think you wanna buy it again. And we don't support illegal versions.

Without much sarcasm , you are not adding Log so gues can be wrong, from what i saw people with standart game client don't have deluxe map parts (buildings and etc) in my cases it was not causing CTD, but myabe in your case objects connected with scripts?

Suddenly I can't provide any Logs as I only have the deluxe version. Some users have experienced the problem (the mod it's already released). I'll pm them and see if I can get the log . Also, I'll take a look to those objects.

Hi, as the title says, my mod crash on non-deluxe versions of the game when loading freeplay. It works perfectly on the deluxe version. I've looked at the mod files and I don't see anything weird.

Any options?

Yep, Games For Windows Live hasn't shut down. Just download it from the official Microsoft's website. If you have an email address from Microsoft (like @hotmail.com) you can use it.

Do you know anything about the Madrid mod? Because I recently installed the mod and when I tried to play freeplay it crashed to desktop (CTD), is there anyway to fix this? Your screenshots look amazing and I'm very excited to play it!

Do you mean the Madrid City Mod? As one of the creators I've never seen that issue, have you tried redownloading and reinstalling?

Another note on the chauffeur is when in a multiplayer session only the hosts can hook and disconnect engines to and from hydrants, clients can't (my above fix might solve the issue but never tried it for this scenario).

That's not right at all, I've been playing multiplayer being the client and I can perfectly attach and disattach hoses.

The only thing I found to solve this is:

In the scene, get all the firemans out of the truck and select the one which is different. Then get a hose and click the hidrant and the truck. That man do not use it until you're ready to go. Then disconnect the hose with the chauffeur by clicking on the engine. It's important that you connect the engine to the hydrant with the chauffeur, otherwise it won't work.

The readme specifically answers this question. You must use the rapid deploy button otherwise the hose connections get stuck

Yes, but if I click the tanker's rapid deployment button nothing happens. If I click engine's button they get in the truck without removing the hose
