  1. I have to ask a fairly direct question, I read the idea in the other topic.  As Ideas go, it isnt a bad idea at all, some would certainly find appeal in the concept, even though it's going to take massive effort to make the custom script to do the idea.  That being said, which of these skills are you going to be the primary responsible party for in which you've stated you need?  If you cannot do at least one or more of these skills yourself, and cannot do them yourself as the primary individual responsible for them, you will have an extremely difficult time in finding people to do these things for you.

From what I've read into your idea, your critical issue is going to be script/coding to address, which it sounds like you won't be able to do yourself.  The Second most difficult issue will be addressing the model requirements for such a unique idea, in general modelers usually also handle the UV map/texture for their projects (though some outsource textures).  Are you capable of doing "scratch" model work?  Are you able to do any sort of model work, if so what exactly can you do with them?

The Model/UV and Script work are the two heaviest loads within this idea, and if the mod "leader" is not helping with that work load, it kind of removes the incentive to work with someone, because in the end the people "helping" are basically doing a great deal of the work, instead of the guy who is "leading" the project.  If you're currently incapable of helping in one of those two categories, I would try to look into picking up one, if not both of the fields (be it model/uv work or script/code work).

It's a nice concept, so best of luck in pulling it off; hopefully you have some skills in the areas you require to get the ball rolling (so to speak) it gives more incentive for people to invest their time into the project when they see it progressing without them rather than them being necessary to make the project even start rolling.

But that's the thing everybody is saying. "The mod leader will not help". But, I am actually working on the mod as we speak. I've gotten quite a bit of progress with the texturing and modelling.

  2. Just by the idea itself, this mod is going to require a lot of things that a vast majority of the Em4 modding community cannot do. A mission script would be the first and foremost thing needed to produce such customized form of gameplay. Next would have to be a lot of modelling to create the hospital itself, equipment, furniture and custom made vehicles.

Next would be the complex GUI required to be integrated into the mission script to make half of that list possible.

Next is more scripting, and more scripting, and a lot of more modding.

This is gonna be one huge task list and there wont be many (if any) hands available who can do most of these tasks. Good luck.

I have had a lot of experience at scripting and at Graphical User Interfaces. Shouldn't be too hard for me.

  3. He guys,

First of all, excuse my terrible english. Im from germany and try the best to write good english:D

i´d like to offer my skills to anyone who´s doing a mod.

    Who am i?

    -Im from Germany

-my german forum name is eMS3c

-I currently go to highschool (not sure if it is the same in english/american school system)

-I´ve been on the german forums quite a while, now i want to check this forum out too:)

-I hope i can be a help on this forum:)

    My skills are:

    -skinning

    -lighting

    -(starter on mapping)

    -(starting on 3D Modelling)

Why do i not make a own mod?

I think i don´t have enough skill to start one standalone mod, which would require extended knowledge in modding (3D, scripting, mapping ...) which i don´t have.

But im pretty good at lighting and skinning. I´ve have done alot of lighting on mods but never released/shown them on public because of possible following copyright issues. Here is a video of some of my lighting and skins i did for my private London Mod edit:

I´ll add more videos to show you what you can expect from me.

Hey, I am in need of a skinner and a 3D Modeller for my Mod Brookville Hospital Mod. I would love it if you could be apart of my team!

All I need as you as a skinner is to skin an ambulance, any colour and has BCH and Brookville Emergency Response written on it

  4. What kind of modding experience do you have. Right now it just sounds like you are looking for a team to make the mod for you and you sit back and tell them what you want.

Well, I have quite basic modelling experience. I've made the emergency vehicles and some props around the hospitals (gurneys, desks, etc...) and also making the map for the base of the hospital. I've also made several personnel (currently the EMS). I'm asking for help, as It is quite a big idea. I wouldn't possibly be able to do it myself.

  5. Hey Emergency-Planet community.

I am the lead developer of the new mod, "Brookville Hospital Mod".

I am desperately in need of

    -3D Modellers

    -Scripters
    -Coder
    -UV Mapper
    -The Basic Team Members
-Someone who could make an accessible hospital which functions (work with scripting team)

If you can help, please message me. I would like someone experienced, or someone who can at least fill one of these criteria. Thank you,

    Jake.

    Brookville Hospital Mod

  6. Hello,
My name is Jake. I have had a fascination with hospitals since I was a toddler. I have noticed the amazing skills used in mod for Emergency 4/911 First Responders.

My concept is in a fictional town called Brookville. You are a hospital manager who controls a team of nurses, doctors, surgeons and technicians. A medical team (depending on the injury, Helicopter or Ambulance) will deliver the patient to your Emergency Room or Heli-Pad. You must choose the right teams to assemble (trauma, neurology, radiology, etc...) and prepare your staff with the correct equipment (gloves, scrubs, etc...). The medical team then takes the patient to the room you have booked/prepared and a GUI will appear, showing you the injures and previously applied tools (bandages, morphine, braces, etc..). You then basically have to treat the patient using any tool you need. You can move the gurney (stretcher) to any room in the hospital, such as the Operating Rooms, Radiology Department, Recovery Rooms, and so forth.

I am currently also in need of a development team, here are the positions available:
    -3D Modellers
