  1. Thanks to everyone who took time answering me! I suspected something like this, actually.

     

    I like the amount details you the creators put in, playing the mod is like seeing a good movie. Also despite those "game-killing bugs" itchboy mentioned campaign goes quite well (some other major mods have fatal bugs that make several missions unpassable, btw). For now the only campaign issue I have is that ATF truck causes CTD. I didn't try all the units, though... 

  2. I have a really silly question, and apologize for it in advance: since I can't check the units in the freeplay (game crashes instantly) could someone tell me what vehicles are on the screenshot in the first post? (the red ones).

    In campaign missions I see only orange units. Do red engines exist in game? Thanks :)

  3. Will the mod use the current vehicle spawn system? (like it is in the released NY mod, can't describe it better) there were the moments when I needed like all 47 units on scene, but the spawn system allowed me to get two marked and some unmarked...

     

    Any chance of getting police barriers and traffic cones, like LA mod has? Any fatal car crash gets better when surrounded nicely with cones and flares. 

  4. yea i know but if i was to name all of the mods that had custom maps the list would be quite long. the ANPR/ALPR system would be a really cool feature as i love role-playing with the units in the mods like setting up checkpoints and things

    Does AI in Em4 drive at different speed? I thought all the cars have the same speed limit. 

  5. I guess it gonna be my turn to be the one not sleeping tonight. Gonna stay up all night so I can deliver the goods in the morning (for the Americans), or the afternoon for you Europeans there.

    So this mod is  campaign compatible! That's really cool, I always play campaign with new units and scripts, 1/2 of the fun!

  6. How do you use the security tape? it's really, really damn hard to place it where it need to be since the damn thing stays red most of the time. For now I figured it can't be placed on the road (probably to avoid the issue of cars interacting with it), and it doesn't close the sidewalk fully either. 

     

    Police officers don't seem to have Halt command anymore. I have to use the loudspeaker to attract passing-by people, 

     

    There's a redirect command but I can't find the Halt Cars command. Guess it ain't here too. 

     

    How do you use you police to secure the scene?

  7. From what I've seen, it's good. Hell, a doctor's car is useful now, police have pepper spray and a cool arrest animation, everything looks bigger and better. Of course, there's still a lot of different things I don't like, but that's just a vanilla game. 

     

    I already imagine something LA mod like here, with better lights, pepper spays, and a goddamn water tanker :D

  8. I highly doubt that they used the actual New York mod model, it would have been too low poly and yes, it looks similar but its not exactly the same. It looks similar because they are both based on stryker stretchers, plus Sixteen Tons always thank and acknowledge their large modding community.

    Hey, I was joking actually, sorry for not stating that clearly) However, I don't doubt that the modding community had influenced this progress a lot. 

     

    BTW, I don't see any blood on the picture... Maybe all those people have light injuries?

    So there are barriers for crowd control! Though they could be just a mission prop...

    The stretcher looks like one from NY mod lol, hope they gave the credit to the modding community ^_^

     

    I wonder how the big rigs are towed. Maybe we'll see a large towtruck like that:
