  1. You don't need two games, you can run two mods for the LA mod.. Really all you need to do is change the name in the em4mod.info change mod name= to something else.. Then you can install another copy.

    1. Replace the BLS Ambulance with the ALS Ambulance at Station 2. That's a relatively simple edit to the Firestation Script and ToFirestaion script I do believe.. Might be a lil more advanced though

    NewFoundking,

Copy the LA Mod directory into the mod folder so that there is two copies and change the name, then make your change to the em4mod.info, this i would think should give you multiple options when you go to load the different mods.

I'm trying to also do item 1, it is a lttle harder than you discribe, you need to alter the LAtofirestation.script so that the ALS ambulance will return to either FS1 OR FS2. this bit i have not worked out just yet.

  2. I'd hazard a guess that they are new heavy rescue appliances if they are from Mills-Tui. The new type 1,2 and 3's are built by SEM

Correction Eggcarton to my post. The new Type 1's are built by Mills-Tui. We have one sitting in town now under lock and key :rolleyes::rolleyes: and i checked the builders plate last night when we were all looking at it !

  3. :O I'm Gobsmacked, That's great work.

    HairyMan,

As this is the only Varley-build 2009 Scania in the Fleet, It's awesome that he made it :)

Hopefully if Eggcarton can he can make one of the more common SEM Builds of the 2009/2010 Scanias.

The Rescues have a Isuzu cab and a custom body.

As for markings, They can all be easily changed.

    Cheers!

    Andrew,

I was thinking of a Scania Rescue Pump much like how the Type 2 Isuzu's are Rescue Pumps also not so much of a straight rescue truck but hey if Egg wishes to make that as well, COOL

    Cheers

  4. Thanks! I'm glad you like it.

I will modify this model for the Rescue (maybe with the new markings, depending on what Andrew wants and then I'll see where I go from theresmile.gif

    Eggcarton,

I think to make the unit rescue, externally you may only need to add the "Rescue" markings on the rollup doors. The major change would to go with the new markings or not. With the new markings, would you go to LED lights to match the current rollout of new appliances?

    Cheers

  5. Hoppah,

Excellent work and now with the second patch has definately made it heaps better. No such problems yet to speak of after a 5 hour session in free-play.

The only thing that i have found is that people often wander onto the road and block traffic. I also have the left turn from the right lane issue but it is not as bad as it was before patch 2. Often a police officer is all that is needed to redirect some traffic so that it starts flowing again. Pathing problem at the hospital once patients are dropped off and the ambulance goes on patrol

I had only one suicide attempt in the water and the diver was able to enter and retrieve the person with no problems.

Andrew2007, is your avatar a pic that you found or are you NSWFB?

    Cheers

  6. Ok i am in free play mode what is the big yellow bus, they cause traffic jams but i can control them.My last question is the chase mode in the free play? because I only see it on the helicopter.

The chase command is in Freeplay mode as i have used it successfully a number of times. click on a patrol car and then the icon is in the bottom right corner of the menu. I am at work at the moment so i don't have it in front of me at this point in time to give a better description of it.

    Cheers

  7. Or you could do what i did and get a Heavy Rescue Utility and put a diver in that and park it at the back of the station and call it on when required.

The divers walk to slow so adding them to the default load for the USAR vehicle would slow down the response of the USAR truck by a minute or so, plus you don't need the divers all the time anyway

  8. Firstly, awesome work Hoppah.

Next, is there a possiblity of seeing a pic of both FS1 and the hospital? i'm not sure if i remember seeing one of the hospital but i don't think there has been one os FS1. i did actually sit and read every page but that was 2 weeks ago now, only do it if you have some time.

Keep up the good work Hoppah, can't wait to see it

    Cheers
