can someone helping Try to install the patch of Gta IV, that done but wont start the game

i believe if you install the latest patch, it tells you that you no longer need rockstar games social club to run GTA 4.... it offers to remove it for you if i recall....
If this wasn't offered to you at the end of the installation then it's most likely not the latest patch, after i applied this patch the game worked fine.

what patch was it ?
Also, what do you mean the game doesn't start? Does it get stuck on the loading screen loop where it shows the characters ? This happened to me before and i managed to fix it.

are you launching the game using the GTAIVLauncher.exe or the Rockstar games social club launcher and then clicking "Play" ?
