  1. Good Evening, 

    Just having some trouble with 911: First Responders. I've noted that during regular gameplay I don't have many issues with crashing but with any modification, they'll load and play fine the first time but then when I reopen the game later, they will crash after a short period of time. Additionally, EM4 runs slow with modifications which doesn't make much sense to me (running a brand new self-built gaming computer). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 

  2. Here's a small bug report for you guys, I took the liberty to play the mod for a couple hours writing down all the bugs I noticed.

     

    • Script Crash if no crew in apparatus when pulling into quarters.
    • Cannot Buy new units
    • Some wrecker crews can't get back into their wreckers such as the flatbed rollback truck.
    • Battalion chief cannot pull into quarters
    • No box alarms or gas leaks!
    • 24 Truck, crews can't get out when in quarters
    • Squad 18 can't pick up hazmat tent
    • No police station
    • Patrol paths messed up

  3. Allright, I'm trying to make it so regular patrolman can use M4s and some patrolman use MP5s, as well as make all officers have the ability to use flashlights! I'm just messing around right now but I think I'm getting somewhere with it. But heres my question how would I make it so the officers can get the weapons from their cars?

  4. Princeton does not have a Swat team but the NJ state police do

    I take it you can mod batons? have you got any previous experience?

    I'm not the one who will be doing the modding for the batons, my brother who has experiance will be making it so if you hit the "deploy" button you will be able to do twice the amount of damage to the attacker.
  5. Yeah I think you're going to want to go C:\Program Files (x86)\WizardWorks\911 - First Responders\Mods\Los Angeles Mod v2.1 MOD1\Units\Vehicles\Police\120unmarked and then look for the unit XML file. You should be able to add MP5 or something in there. I'll get back to you on that.

  6. Hi,

    I'm thinking about starting a submod, which would be just edditing the textures and what not of the Los Angeles mod. I'm definately adding tasers, batons, and pepperspray. Some people don't beleive that it has a perpous but it really does. I don't want to keep having to send paremedics out to heal my officers, I would much rather just take down the subject with something. Anyway I'm getting off topic, so I'm going to be changing the textures to the AWESOME princeton township police department's paint as well as the not so awesome princeton borough police. (Both photos below)

    Anyway, I'm also going to be adding new police cruisers including persuit police vehicles and roadblock police vehicles kind of like the ones from need for speed.

    I'm going to keep an open mind and I'm going to allow a lot of people to do whatever they want and help out. Feel free to talk to me and help me with the mod.

I've been wanting to install multiple modded versions of LA mod but the problem is though I name the mod folder different things so I don't get confused in the game when I go to boot a mod, all of them have the same names therefore making it a guessing game. Any way I can change the name in game to like "LA Mod w/ elm" or something like that.

  8. When I use the firefighter to deploy gateways it works fine and I'm able to use two hoses with the split but the issue is when the fire is out and when I go to pick up the gateways. The gateway disappears but the hose that was connected to it lays on the ground. None of my firefighters or anyone can pick it up and it causes the truck the hose is attached to to not move because it's hooked up to the hose. Am I doing something wrong or is it just a glitch?
