Man, i would really like to play this....

I have tried all kinds of tricks to make it run on my Alienware, but due to flipping Intel aparently there are nothing i can do, eventho it have an NVidia 550M also

Try going to the first page of the thread for tech issues referring to your NVIDIA cards.

If you guys want V3 go ahead and join up with MERU on teamspeak, ask a high ranking member to give you your tags such as LT or Captain and Chiefs. But please guys... don't join just because you want V3. Join because you want to play with us on multiplayer.

I have played the mod for about an hour with no problems at all. I did run into a natural gas leak in the NE corner that called mission fail despite having all the units up there spraying on the storm drain in the street.

Yea i think thats a bug also... I can't seem to put it out either.

yea I know that but those units really don't do much in the mod unless you actually role play it and try to be realistic on fire calls etc. Like there really is no difference in the mod between a division and battalion chief, but its always fun to respond to calls with the proper units. That's what make this mod extremely different from all others.

In this case the game doesn't serve that purpose as said in real life. it serves a whole different purpose in game which i think is what handsup question was referring to.

I can't see how there would be a decline in interest of this mod... It looks better than LA Mod from the screenshots.

One question: Do i have a bad rig or does v1 run at 20 fps whatever u rig? And will v2 have better optimization if it is something to do with the game rather than graphics?

damn 20 fps? that sounds like ur gpu can't handle V1... V2 has lesser tall high rise buildings that stick up in 3d mode like the times square building.... but none the less post you PC specs and we'll figure out something,

just to say v1 of the mod now I have windows 7 does not load just crashes the game on campaign freeplay and multiplayer etc so now really can not wait to get this v2 as loved playing the manhattan mod even v1 as worked out how to get around the bugs but on win 7 doesn't work at all!

The engine is the spare rig.. that it means it wasn't the original one sent to the house. The original one must of gone to the shop for repairs therefore they sent a replacement in order for the guys to roll out to the calls. The spare will be pretty obvious if you take a look at the companies number.

Ive been running fraps in 30 FPS. I have Intel® Core™ i3-2130 CPU @ 3.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz for graphics.

One thing I forgot to mention, when I run fraps, I leave the FPS numbers to show up on my screen. They always go down to the tens area.. They go down real low. Although, I didnt have any problem when I ran fraps and 911FR on my older computer.

Just a little tip:

It's not about the brand of graphics cards that causes the CTD.

Intel is an average brand for graphics cards whereas ATI and Nvidia rule that district.

The best cards of Intel should be able to run the mod.

I have an ATI card and I get the CTD. Theres goes your narrowing down
