  1. Xplorer 4x4 is correct. To keep it in perspective, most (if not all) Battalion Chief's are responsible for 6 or more stations in their area, so it would be unrealistic to include additional BC's in game. However, it will still be possible to call the original BC (1) from off map. The BC that I will be including on map will be Battalion 6 - which is the BC responsible for 2 of the 3 station numbers that I am using in game (Station 85 [1] and 36 [3]). Station 2 will be known as 51 for all those fans out there (myself included).

    Hi Jon,

nice to hear from you. As always, your kind words flatter me. I am trying a number of things differently, this time, to hopefully add to the realism. I am attempting to reorganise the parking at Station 85 [1] so that it is less organised (if that makes sense). Instead of having a bay for ALS engines, a bay for the BLS engines and a bay for the ladder, I am trying to mix it up so it is more realistic (I imagine that space is at a premium and that the vehicles are put where they will fit), so I am trying to recreate that situation, but still make it possible to call units to the scene. the screenshot below will hopefully explain this better.

Units to be included; * please note that all the units contained on the map will be suitably numbered and added as extra units, so the originals will still be available from off map.

As a side note, I had previously shown the police vehicles as all Dodge Chargers at the station, but have since decided to include some as cv's.

    The plan is for the station to have crown vics as 200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, with Dodge Chargers 210, 211 and slicktop Dodge Chargers 212, 213.

The CHP should have crown vics C-41, C-42, with 2 Dodge Chargers and 1 Dodge Charger slicktop.

That is the current plan ......... anyway.

    More to come soon,

    Take care Shane

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Keep Up The Good Work :D I Cant Wait good work

  2. California law requires 2 medics on scene. Most ambulances are staffed with a paramedic and an EMT(basic), not all, but most. So, an engine is on scene as the 2nd medic. Also, the extra help is great. If there's a possibility, or is serious, they can go +1 with a firefighter on board. Making 3 on board a box possible. with family members still able to get in. We (our area) usually do 4-5 on the engine, so we can still fit our gear in.

Where are u from? Cuz I'm From LA and most of the stuff you say doesnt seem to have any research behind it. I dont mean to bash in anyway nor disrespect you but research first, and also 5 people on apparatus with 5 sets of bunkers doesnt quite fit aswell as u say...

  3. There are a lot of things that i like about this mod, the apparent chain of command (each engine has a captain, captain can call the next person on the chain to respond, he, in turn, can call the next.) However there are some things that i didn't like: new sirens, new police vehicles as opposed to just using multiples of the original, (meaning just having one, them copying them in game. That way, if you have edited the vehicle, the ones in game will be like it.)I wish there was a way to keep the command, and the new parking spaces, but remove the other parts that are not wanted.

I agree, I wanted to change the lights and in turn have to change 30 apparatus and so on

  4. There wouldn't be a water supply with a set amount of water exactly. Instead in order to connect discharge hoses and use the deck guns on the foam tender it would have to be connected to two or three engines. It would still have an unlimited amount of water, because it's impossible to have a limited water supply.

I think it was the London mod that was able to connect engines to hydrants and such.

Im an air force firefighter i play with foam too much and u can attach hoses and use the deck gun and only attach to a fire hydrant it depends on how much your pumping out and it depends on how much is coming in so thats not necessarily true and i assure u that u wont ever see three engines attached to a foam tender

  5. Weird I really though it didn't work on Vista 64 bit + 911:FR. It must be something else then, but I don't know what. There is not much I/we can do about this.

I have vista 64 bit and it runs perfect and i have had no problems what so ever :D
