Hi everyone,

Im creating a own mod but i got an problem. If i create the .e4p in the editor it works but when i have to add it as a new unit to the freeplay its missing i can't find the whole .e4p anymore. But the wierd thing is that ingame the .e4p still exists.

I hope on a quick reaction because its important and i dont have much time.

This is excellent. I only noticed units responding at times got confused in traffic. Mostly south of the police station.

My home town of Bristol Pa. has an old 1957 Ahrens Fox Pumper not in active service. I have seen 2 more one in NH and another in SC both of those where still in service. If I understand correctly only 6 where ever made. I would love to see the other 3.

Looking great! Drooling already. The engine 7 thing. I have no idea of the make however I have seen an engine live where it looks tall and skinny. In fact if you placed it on the side it would look the right dimensions. My guess for small town with small streets?

I personally would like to see a GTA modding style forum, where people share more individual models rather than full mods, like Crown Vic, then a few skins, or a seagrave pumper with a few skins?

Checked out Post 1 already. Trying to find the poll someone mentioned though. Static traffic for TS did you mean human or car? Human I would think static for the most part maybe a few wanderers. Car traffic I would say flow. Lots of flow.

I thought i would make this and post it up here. It's made with the New York Mod. Fire in the back, medics in the middle, and police in the front.

That is pretty neat. Eventually however we will forget and history will repeat. As an American I can say we have one major fault "We never want what we have". More security <->less security. More government help <-> less government. Catch terrorists <-> just don't detain or kill them. Investigate suspects vigorously by any means <-> respect their constitutional rights. ah and my favorite! Retaliate <-> just don't go to war or kill anyone. rofl

Yes! I agree with TacticalRooster22 it needs town colors. A local unit should represent the locals. And black? It will be hit for sure at night.

Me and Rafael are considering turning this into a stand alone mod rather than naming it a submod. At current it features no LA units or vehicles and not a huge amount of models from the LA mod (no more than other mods named independent mods). The only things steming from the original LA mod still present in the mod we are working on really is the file structure and scripts, so we have decided we want to name this a full mod now (will look about getting it moved into the EN mods section) because I feel that as popular as the mod is, it has always been slightly disregarded as it isn't actually an independant mod.

So this is just a warning that the name of the mod will be changing.

I hate to say it but " I told you so". rofl I think it should stand out as a mod and not a sub mod. As per proper credit just mention in the credits something like "Original sub mod of LA mod" or something like that to credit your start.

Well we're thinking along the lines of 'Manhattan Mod' or 'Emergency Manhattan' etc. But glad you approve of the idea and regardign traffic: I think that's the best idea to, still gonna test both ways, but its more likely the traffic will be static

All the recent mods, whose the last one norway mod, are NO INTEREST "MODS" and ARE NOT MODS but only SKINS.

We are sick of getting only skins mod, it does't have any interest.

The only AWESOME REAL MODS are ERS BERLIN, WINTERBERG, and to a lesser extent LA MOD, which have NEW MAPS, A LOT OF NEW SCRIPTS AND MOSTLY A FULL DISPATCH SYSTEM

Please STOP RELEASING SKINS without new maps, new scripts, and FULL DISPATCH SYSTEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!! TAKE ERS BERLIN AS AN EXAMPLE !

I disagree with this one. Nothing beats playing with other city, state, country's units. Face it there are only so many different unit manufactures. Lookk at real life. Basically all areas have about same equip and incidents.

My greatest injury was in 7th grade. I was to lazy to put belt on. Pants slid down and I cracked my head on the hall floor and broke a tooth. Years later I can show people the dent my tooth made in the floor. Not sure what part was more embarrassing. rofl BTW my guess was the bat also.

Well, if you are doing for example LA mod skins it has to be in submods, if you are doing a map that can be in all the mods or the original game it has to be in mods section... Modeling? if you are doing a model, you are probably doing for a specific mod, so it goes in that mod section and if you want to share it for the other users can use it, post it in mods.

That was my point. I think. No individuality. I was thinking along the lines of models say like a section for generic Pierce, American La France or pumpers, tankers, engines. Skinners doing generic unit detail. (Anyone could put say the LA, Ny, or wherever logo on.) And well maps say city, country, urban and such. For instance look at the LA mod. Unless your really curious and search. Who did the models? Who did the skinning? Who did the map?

Like for instance I enjoy London, Ny, LA, and Ny sub, However I am doing a private mod to show to scouts and other youth basically how things work after you make that call to 911. Also for those annoying people who feel they should be first and response is not fast enough. First responders especial in the city's need to make tough calls on where to send, what to send, who goes first. (Emergency 4 excellent game and teaching tool. ) Any way I have no idea who to thank for the skins models and so forth I kind of borrowed from NY and La.

*Note: For those interesting in the teaching part. Create a mod with 2 motorcycle units, 1 police car, 1 brush truck, 2 engines, a ladder, 1 tow, and 2 ambulances. Each from the menu (Such as motor1, motor 2, or engine 1, engine 2) and set the price to buy new units too high to buy a spare. Watch the real life stress begin. rofl

Actually I was the main developer of woo. "WorldofOurs" rofl. Sounds good so far. We actually do need a new 3d multiplay again. The web is stagnent with the classic ones.

After visiting there every year for 5 years with scouts I'll have to agree 100% with this. The minister of healths office was a great host when the sars outbreak happen and my own country wouldn't let me back in for a week. I had the happiest scout troop in the world when they put us up in hotel and everything. rofl

Ah got it! A few homeless about. Maybe a long line at the unemployment office or soup kitchen with officers and barricades routing pedestrian traffic?

I have noticed this site has remarkable talent that is hiding. We have a mod and sub mod area. How is it we don't have a map, scripting, model, and skinning areas?

I know "off topic"? I was not sure exactly what topic to put it under. Does not fit in modding or modding help.
