  1. Yeah right, you should give credits to NNico? Because i already saw that it's the F350 from Nico. Please give proper credits, instead of acting its your own.

Please, enlighten me on where in his post he states that its his?

  2. I love this translation compared to ones I have used before, very in depth and very easy to understand.

There is a good guide already made which also includes a basic drug guide: http://forum.emergen...od/page__st__80

In post by pyrothijs, #87 called Starter Manual.

Thank you. I took a look at this guide and it will be a goof reference but there are also a lot of mistakes in it.

    Example:

"Another case in which resuscitation is necessary is atrial fibrillation. Just like in the asystole there are no QRS complexes. The difference between the two forms is that atrial fibrillation does not display a flat line, but irregular pulses. Those pulses are called f-waves, they can be described as ‘teeth from a saw"

First off F-waves are present in Atrial Flutter not Atrial Fibrillation which are two entirely different things.

A-fib very very rarely requires resuscitation, thousands of people live with it everyday. Also A-fib is not the absence of a QRS complex, no QRS means your ventricles are not working, not your atria. A-fib on an ECG is actually the absence of a P wave before the QRS complex. Also A-fib can be very regular most of the time just with the absence of a P wave. Also teeth from a saw is describing V-fib, which DOES need rapid intervention and CPR or Atrial Flutter.

A-fib generally looks normal and regular expect for the absence of a P-wave, which in the pre-hopsital setting rarely needs treated. The only time you would treat A-fib in the field is if its NEW, aka they have not had it for years which can be hard to determine if they have not be diagnosed and even then unless its effecting their ability to pump oxygen acutely(rarely) still should be left alone.

A-fib means the blood is not pumping effectively which can lead to blood clots which is why almost all A-fib patients are on daily blood thinner medication. Fixing A-fib in the field can potentially free a blood clot leading to a pulmonary embolism or stroke.

As paramedics we take an oath to "Do No Harm"

Anyway lol, sorry for the medic lesson. That guide is decent, but has many errors which I will address in mine.

  3. UPDATE: We are already up to 14 members, keep em coming! We need people in all 3 departments!

Is this part of Squad 55 or completely separate?

Both kinda lol, Squad 55 is ran by Kicks while Precinct 55 is my own project, although we have members from Squad 55 also and I am a LT. with Squad 55 and we share a teamspeak server.

Hope this answers your question, if not, just let me know!

  4. Precinct 55 is a Grand Theft Auto IV clan that portrays realistic law enforcement within Liberty State, County and City using the LCPD: First Response mod. We have our own patrol vehicles with custom paint jobs for each department along with protocols and standards for each department as well.

Precinct 55 is currently recruiting Cadets for ALL departments!

    Requirements To Join

    16+ years of age

A LEGAL copy of Grand Theft Auto IV

Hello, Precinct 55 was founded on Nov. 25th by a group of friends from Squad 55. Headed by Lt. Hollywood of Squad 55, Precinct 55 has come a long ways in less then a month. Website is complete, SOPs are in place and vehicle models and skins have been put in place along with a beat map outing all 3 agencies (State, County, City) patrol areas, etc.

Today on December 5th, 2012 we are ready to unveil the website and go public.

We do not officially open until 7PM EST, you may fill out apps now but may or may not get a reply until after 7PM EST tonight.

We hope to see you tonight and look forward to patrolling with you!

  5. EDIT 11/09/2012

v1.8 has been uploaded, please re download.

The only things I cannot to find to translate is the text that scrolls in the top when someone dies reporting the time of death and after you take someone to the hospital when it shows what you've done right or wrong across the top, anyone know where I can find this text?

Once I find this text, I'll find and correct any remaining errors and release a final version (2.0)

I'll include a drug guide with the final version if it has enough support so please let me know!!!

Also, if I can get permission from the RTS team I may also replace the default ambulances and fly car with American units, and as to not represent a single US city, I may just go with a nationwide private service skin. Thoughts?

  6. fp_params_endless is the file you need to edit.

Found in 1 of these possible places, assuming you installed the game in the default folder.

  7. Been playing this mod a few days now, love it. I was never a big fan of European mods, sat down and played ERS Berlin one day, and fell in love with European fire apparatus and ambulances. Now I have London, Denmark, Poland, Copenhagen etc lol but anyway about this mod...

I love it, I love the fact you don't have enough guys to staff every truck, at least with enough manpower to all be useful, this makes planning important and it also makes it worthwhile to tone your volunteer and part time guys, which in turn gives a more "upgrading to 2nd alarm, 3rd alarm, etc feeling" I like the way the EMS station works, not crazy over how the stretcher team functions but eh, I don't really care lol. When I first saw the tankers I thought "Finally another mod with limited water supply" much like ERS Berlin but was disappointed to see that's not the case, would be cool to have to shuttle water to rural areas. Other then that, love this mod very very much and have been playing it a lot, thanks and great work!
