  1. There are 6. I found them all. Use landmarks and weird land formations to find them.

lol How long did it take you to find them all?

I've found 5 gold but can't find the 6th after an hour of looking! :(

Me too. But then my save file got corrupted and I have to start all over again. Twice. :(

Made a post with the log file in the bugs topic.

  2. I know I may be disturbing to you but how can I turn out the gas-pipline-fire and how can I rescue the people in the electrified room? I tried using a technician, firemen (died....), foam tender.... nothing worked. And when I try the evacuate command from the police chopper nothing happens.....

I think there's a switch that the technician needs to press to cut off the gas and a switch for turning off the power. The police chopper should be able to evacuate the building. Don't know why it wouldn't work.

  3. Hi,

how can I complete the "Crash at Car Race" mission in LA Mod? I figure I need firemen to take away the barricades. When I do so nothing happens and then the racecar crashes into the accident scene and I fail. What do I need to do?

You need to stop the race. Send a police officer to the flagman and talk to him to stop the race.

  4. Thanks for trying to help me, O´Neill but something must be wrong. I cannot see ANY missions without starting a campaign - not in deluxe and not in default. I load the mod and when I enter the "play campaign" menu it doesn´t show any missions - none.

Try reinstalling the mod. Find the Mods folder in your game's directory. The game's folder should be "WizardWorks" for 911: First Responders or "Sixteen Tons Entertainment" for EM4. Open the Mods folder and delete the LA mod folder. Then reinstall the mod.

  5. Thanks for the reply! Does that mean I have to complete the original (=default EM) missions BEFORE I have access to the mod missions? I tried to start new campaigns several times, but it only gives me the default missions

No, you do not need to complete the original missions. All original and mod missions are available when you load the mod. Just select the mission you want to play from the campaign menu. It is not necessary to click on New Campaign.

  6. Hi there,

I´ve downloaded LA mod version 2.1 and it seems to work fine. But I´ve got one issue - I can not access the campaign missions. Everytime I start a new campaign it will just bring me the standard missions from the original game. What do I need to do to play the mod missions?

    Thanks for the help!

The mod missions should be listed below the standard missions from the original game. You do not need to start a new campaign.

  7. Ah, nice to see someone here plays SWAT 4. It's one of my favorite games. :) The main area of the store is often tricky to deal with. For this map, I usually carry CS because flash bangs don't always affect suspects behind cover. You could enter the building from the back door near the bathrooms so that you can avoid the office window so that you won't be spotted by any suspects that might be in the main shopping area. Once inside the building, I wedge the two doors on the right, wedging the main area door and the door leading to the lounge. I usually mirror those doors myself and see what's inside of those areas before going to the office.

Then I gas and clear the office and proceed to the freezer. Once in the freezer, watch the windows on the right and stack up on the door if it's safe to do so. If you see any suspects near the wedged doors and there aren't any suspects near the freezer door, then it might be best to enter and gas from the other doors depending on where the suspects are located.

Single player games on SWAT 4 can be tricky and frustrating at times since your teammates are AIs. Co-op with a great team of human players beats the AI team any day. That's why it's my favorite mode to play in. Good luck with your Quik Fuel mission. :)

  8. Even Ccleaner can make mistakes. If you can't use regedit, use Ccleaner and just check the list of found registrykeys and see if there is anything related to 911:FR.

Haven't found anything related to 911:FR. If I were to use ccleaner's registry fix and something was messed up, how do I restore those registries with the saved backup?
