how come when i start the game, i click modifications, click LA Mod and it begins to load then crashes to desktop? i have the patch and everything...im using EM4 and i have a good graphics card, i used to have no problem playing, i had to reformat my machine due to a different issue and now it just wont work..i can play the original version but not the LA or NY mods...which both are my fav's i need help ive tried reinstalling both game and mod multiple times and still no luck

If your using Vista or Win7 then try running as administrator

Make sure you have newest version of la mod or ny mod also try redownloading them

Make sure you have em4 version of la mod not em3

When you load a mod it freezes for a minute or 2 it is normal slow or old pc might freeze for longer try waiting for 5 mins before closing

It should automatically detect where your em4 folder is and which version are you trying to install(just asking)

I have Los Angeles mod 2.1 for Emergency 4, but I can't play the LA mod missions in campaign, only the normal ones. The name of the missions are right but the missions aren't.

Try Reinstalling i had the same problem it showed that la mod was installed but when i checked none of the files were installed so i just reinstalled it and it worked

2.1 IS 2.0 with some bugfixes all submods still work.

Same and besides new version is better

Start em4 click on modifications in main menu and select la mod it might freeze for sometime please be patient and wait then after sometime you will be brought to main menu automatically then select mission or freeplay and you should have la mod units

NOTE:you have to do it everytime you start la mod

I just installed la mod and started em4(911-FR)and in modifications section selected la mod it freezes for some seconds and then i can select other mission but when i select 1 mission it closes and i have to restart and same happens again and again
