A dev's machine can no longer handle the mod... that's worrying.

There isn't a PG County mod as far as I know...I was just making a suggestion.

Try playing FDNY/EMS ONLY. That seems to work fine. Whenever I go to load the FDNY/EMS/NYPD it will either CTD as it finishes loading or it will load and about a minute into playing it will CTD but no issues with FDNY/EMS ONLY.

As Emergency 5 has been announced and is confirmed to have modding return, I'd like to say that me and Dyson will do V3 for Emergency 5! That's if everything goes ok!

So far I've run into no major bugs. Had a vehicle fire that could not be put out and a another fire that could not be put out but other than that it's a very smooth running mod. Models and skins are still high quality but nothing that causes massive amounts of lag and I think it just has a much more "real" feeling to it then V1. Overall 5 starts guys, great job.

Yes. See thats what i thought too but i tried to change the root and it didnt work. Do it exactly as he posted it at the top.

It may be that a registry key is missing.

I fixed mine this way:

1. Open your favorite plain-text editor.

2. Paste the code below into a new file:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\sixteen tons entertainment\Emergency 4]
"InstallDir"="C:\\Program Files\\sixteen tons entertainment\\Emergency 4"

3. Save the file as 'Emergency4RegistryKeyFix.reg' (technically you can choose any file name you desire, so long as the extension is '.reg' )

4. Locate and double-click the registry file you just saved, and choose yes when asked to add the information to the registry.

It may be important to note, however, that the fix may be different for 64-bit computers.

The fix I gave should work on all 32-bit computers.

okay, the registry fix file he posted up earlier in the forum. YOu copy all of it. Even the windows registry editor part. COPY ALL OF IT to notepad and save it as whatever you want with the file extension .reg then open it and say yes to what it says. It should be fixed.

Did station 63 have any brush fires today? I didnt hear any but not sure. We had 1 bad one at a nunnery

Nope we were quiet all day. Came close to an assist on a brush fire but they got control of it fast.

On topic of the mod, plan on doing any units that are strictly off map? Like Station 63 units?

We used to, but our town asked to shut it down because it was "Noisy". next they were fighting for us to not have our sirens on. we said STFU.

Not sure if Meshoppen uses one still but I know Factoryville still uses theirs.
