  1. Had a good moment in this mod yesterday. I've been reading quite alot about emergency medicine, both pre-hospital and ER care (for the ERT RPG). Finally got some use for that :P So here is a little tip.

Had a car crash victim that was pretty badly injured and unconcious. I did the normal thing, IE admister oxygen, get IV access and start saline, bandage, imobilize, move to ambulance, call helicopter. While I'm waiting for the helicopter I'm looking at the victims vitals, and notice suddenly that the pulse Ox is dropping, and pretty quickly at that, despite being on oxygen (Had dropped from the mid/high 50s to low 40s in the short time it took to complete treatment). I suddenly remember that you can intubate in this mod, so I do, and get the gratifying "correct" sound (and actually remembered to click the ambu bag once to start the manual ventilation -_-). Lo and behold, the O2 sat starts rising :D I realized I must have missed this quite a few times, I've had a few car crash victims code on me before the helo arrives, and failed to bring them back.

So the moral of the story: Know what to look for in in the vitals :P 100 O2 sat is good, dropping sat despite oxygen supply is bad, very bad.

Could you point some of these websites you read; in most of the missions i don't get the A grade (only B). I think i'm missing some procedures most of the times.

One question: When transporting the patient to the hospital you always use the "normal" speed (second one)? I think i read on the manual you shouldn't go too fast with a patient inside the ambulance.

  2. Sometimes i get "alert" to KTW that "New contract on.." blabla, and then i find some lady front of hospital. When i take her inside the hospital, they says "This must be lady with KTW.." What do i do with her?

When dealing with KTW patients transports you have three types of calls:

    - Taking Patient from home to the Local Hospital

    - Taking Patient from Hospital to home

    - Taking Patient from Hospital to another facility (outside the town)

You can check what type is it pressing "Tab" when you receive a call; if a patient is standing in front of the hospital you should take him to his home or to another facility, just check the mission info (press "Tab" key).

Check the guide in attachment, it should help you a lot.

In the beginning this mod should be difficult to play but you'll learn after playing some time; i also learned some german words playing this mod

  3. Many Thanks, Mr_Kaizer.

The "bug" with the patient colors is solved; it wasn't a bug really. In the new versions the patients hold a card with the color representing their status (green, yellow, red). I though that was some kind of graphical bug but now i understand it

I have some more questions if you don't mind

    - I always connect the Winterberg fire truck (the one you selected on your video) to a hydrant. Doesn't that give me unlimited supply of water? Because i have a situation yesterday i setup a hose for three and was using the water canon also and i run out of water.

    - What it is for the portable pump and how to use it?

    - What are the difference between B and C hoses types?

    Mr_Kaizer, thanks again man.

  4. Hi guys,

I don't know if it is a bug or other thing but i think that in other versions when i used the "Start Triage" button of the doctor on a patient then if i click on the patient i could know how is him by the color (green, yellow, red, etc); know i can't do that, it simple doesn't give me anything when i do that (using the newest version 7.5 Artico).

The commands that the doctor can do (use stethoscope, basic check, etc) are really "connected" to the patient injury type like in RTS or not?

Someone can translate this section of the manual? It is related with the use of keys (left-shift, right shift, etc): http://i52.tinypic.com/zsnyau.png

Another thing, the handbook is not translated to English right?

  5. Hi,

I recently discover this mod and i was impressed with it's detail; however it is a bit complicated, and i have some questions:

    - What is the difference between different levels of Cardia 1,2,3, etc

    - When i delivered the patient to the hospital i get a "Censorship" (i think that's the word) of 2 or 3. That's too bad right?

    - What are the procedures to a cardia and for a person with nauseous and vomits as symptoms?
