  1. Open the V3O if all the parts are separated as they should be:

    *makes an example

    Excursion (main body model)

    Excursion_door01

    Excursion_door02

    Excursion_wheel01

    then all you need to do is go up to the export button on the taskbar up top (the lil red file) there is a DOWN arrow to the right of it, click that and you will see "multiple export" in the options, that's what you want.

    Pop-up appears asking where you want to dump the file(s) to (I pick desktop easier to retrieve them)

    Pick V3O for the filter and press EXPORT

    It's alot easier to do it this way it will create a V3O for each object in the zmod file instead of manually exporting each file and having to manually name it exactly as the object was named in zmod, if you don't do that zmod won't export correctly... Multi-Export it automatically does this for you.

    oh thank you, i did that but now there are many files... how do i merge them all together to make 1 V3O model

I was thinking of making a wildland mod.The free play base should be a small town surrounded by brush.There should be one volunteer fire station with a tanker,engine and brush truck.There should be a sheriff station and hospital.Write back if you have any ideas.If you want to be added to the team, pm me.Tell me EXACTLY what job you want.THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM THE STA MOD!!!!

    what can you do? i might help you with your mod if you do with mine?

  3. Reskinning is not of much use creating a mod, not unless you're taking someone else's already made models..

    Define Editor work... Before you were looking for someone to do lights... The most important part of the editor work aside from pressing new and creating a prototype

    To present something useful to the mod, you need to be able to model, or skin, or use the editor very well, or script. If you can't do any of those, learn one, otherwise you won't be of much help, other than, here is what I want, make it for me.

    I am learning to make skins and I would learn it pretty fast because I have lots of experience with photo/video editing.

    I can work with the editor pretty well.

There are some exceptions, but what I Was getting at is that we have had members who have started a mod, rolled out a few things, then decided to start a second one and let the first die, then kill the second and revive the first, and then kill it and start a third and so on and so on, and people would jsut start posting at the beginning of the next mod, I'm not helping since it's not going to follow through, why don't you finish what you started.

    Hello thanks for your advice. Right now my mod will just be like a basic mod. With like couples of units for every department. And I will not have any new script, equipment or anything.
