  1. I have to say, this is my favourite British mod of all times. Although it's my favourite one, there are quite a few issues which might be resolved over time through patches. Here are the ones I can remember:

    1. Whenever connecting the hose to the trucks and then deploying the monitor (or whatever it's called), it then no longer uses the water supply from the truck and basically has an infinite supply of water... It just makes it a little bit too easy.

    2. Whenever I have car accident in the forest path with the fallen tree on the car, whenever I complete the mission, the tree doesn't disappear effectively creating a permanent block. I can't use the hacksaw on it either.

    3. I've been playing this for a couple of hours, and there are absolutely no police calls... Maybe I'm just a bit too eager to call in the ARV's from the station via the panic button :D

I haven't had any CTD's so far, but those are just the issues I've spotted so far.

  2. I came across a metropolitan police 4x4 parked by London City airport with the letters CCH or CHH on the the side of the car towards the back end. This question may sound stupid, but does anyone know what role it has (e.g. IRV, Area, Traffic)? That being said, there were officers inside carrying H&K mp5's with scopes, so I thought it may have been a ARV.

  3. This mod is definitely one of my favourites now. I still agree with Hoppah that it needs polishing but it's still pretty good.

@999madtom: There's a solution to that. Just request a arrestatie-team(abbreviated AT) and a regular police car (or just a police car if you don't want to make it elaborate) and just send the officer to arrest the suspect.

    Cheers

  4. First of all, that's great that the mod is coming out soon. Second, 5 posts in a row! (Granted, most of it was mod related). Lastly what on earth do those links have to do with the game. I can do better things in the meantime rather than play a jigsaw game...

    Cheers

  5. Hi and welcome to the forums,

This mod definitely sounds like it has some potential. A small suggestion though, maybe using the map from the campaign mission "Fire on oil rig!" might save some time on map making, but then again might not be your taste. I wish you all the best with your mod-making and I'll be watching closely for for any progress made...

    Cheers

  6. In that case then, I really wish you well on the mod-making and hope it doesn't die out like a lot of other mods. Having lived in the Netherlands for so many years, it would be interesting to see what you come up with, even though there are Dutch mods already...

  7. In line with EMC's post, I really don't think scavenging on Google for images is really part of the modding. Nobody likes to mod for a person who just micromanages every little detail and does nothing to actually contribute to it. To make a sugeston, why don't you use the emergency-planet tutorials? Then come back when you feel competent enough to tackle at least one or more things needed for a mod.

  8. Where do i install the Corona''s HELP...I Think this Mod is going to be AMAZING but I can't stand the little White Blocks on the lights, Where do i install the coronas that they will be effective for the game

Just extract the folder with the coronas into the mod's "Textures" folder. Piece of cake...

On a different note: I think this on par or even better than Harbor City. I think it's a bit more realistic texture-wise. But I think if you could just add more variety to the sheriff vehicles and maybe adding a police commander, or something of the sort. Other than that, good work.

  9. First of all, this the wrong place to put this topic. Second, the LA mod should have an executable (.exe) file in the download. If it's a .zip (which I don't recall when I downloaded the mod, then open the .zip with WinRar or whatever archiver you have and double click the .exe and put the installation directory in your EM4 or 911:FR mods folder. And on a final note, they are exactly the same, except it's got 911:FR on the box and wizard works is the game folder.

    Cheers,

    PS: Welcome to the forums...

  10. I'm probably not the only user who's asked this but will you include weapons such as H&K and other rifles of sorts or will you stick to the standard m4 carbine for ESU officers? And also, have you considered adding a battering ram?

About V2.0.1: what purpose is the SCBA gear for ESU officers?

    Cheers,

  11. Is anyone else having the problem with off map support, where the vehicles are kind of stuck in their spawning zones? I have to manually fix each one by telling them to return to HQ then ordering them to their location, haha.

Other than that, i love the mod, i think the amount of fire vehicles you can call in, and the addition of DEMA, as well as the new scripts work perfectly!

Yeah, I am having the same problem...

I have another question. Is the EOD unit under DEMA deployment tab? Because there is one unit in the DEMA vehicle deployment menu which the game refuses to deploy. Is that a HAZMAT unit or EOD unit? And is there a HAZMAT unit or has that been disabled for the current version?

  12. I live in the state above Mass. I live in New Hampshire. I would love to see a Local Mod Go on! I have been in Boston and I like the progress so far! Is there an Estimated Release Date?

Not as far as I've seen, but just a heads up... You're not supposed to ask for mod release dates, and I'm pretty sure that that rule was stated in bold somewhere. On the other hand, I do agree that the Boston mod has been turning out some really cool stuff. Keep up the good the work! I'm definitely supporting this mod, even though without the banner.

    Cheers,

  13. The screens look really cool, but can you please give me English names of the different FD vehicles or an overview of what their role is. Some names and roles I do recognise like "Gerätewagen" (I think it's an equipment or rescue truck) and "DLK" (ladder) from the Wegberg Mod. But 3/4 of it I don't understand. Forgive us daft Englishmen (particularly me).

  14. It came as a .rar which opened up into the installer. Thank you

    You're welcome.

So, will the majority of the houses or other buildings be enterable, or will you use the search house script that Hoppah released not so long ago? And will v2.0.4 be the same location as v2.0.3, 3.0.0 or neither?
