I was missing some files because the install would show a quick error at the end. I installed it on my virtual pc running xp and just copied over the missing files.

Basically after a few minutes of playing my game gets completely locked up to the point where I have to reset my PC. All drivers were recently installed on a new PC build. The only thing I'm seeing that could be the problem is that the log file states I have a Pentium CPU rather than my Phenom II x6 any ideas? Also I have tried running it on only one core that only seems to keep it from locking up a little bit longer. I recently upgraded my PC. Used to work just fine on my i7 on both vista and win 7.

Edit: Never mind a quick re-install solved the problem. Sorry about that.

Edit2: Never mind just took a really long time to lock up again.

I send in the 1 water canon swat teams as well as a few more swat teams. I use a couple of patrols to block of the streets as well as what they are facing (this makes them back up a little). I also have a fire truck and a large ambulance staged one block out in case someone gets hurt or they start a fire as well as 2 or 3 police vans (depending on how many there are). When everything is in place, I get a few guys with shields and the rest are just ready for arrests. I have them all start heading toward the protectors to start arresting while I throw a flash grenade. I then arrest a good 85% without any trouble. The rest are quickly caught and put in the police vans. This usually results in no injuries, but there sometimes are a few(1 or 2). If things get way out of hand, I try and get as many of my units out and behind the water canon as possible, start the water canon up and wait for backup.

Did you recently change your os? I'm asking this because I had the same problem when I changed from Vista to Windows 7. I reinstalled it and never had a problem again.

Random, if you don't know what you are telling then just leave it to someone that knows... this would avoid users reinstalling their game for nada

There's no editor executable in program files because the editor is launched through the game executable with the command -editor

Thanks Stan I almost reinstalled (I was clicking next in the uninstall window). This really helped me a lot.
