  1. The U.S. Government Shutdown is over, so the United States Capitol Police can be readded to your mod.
  2. I don't know how to edit failure conditions. Could you give me a detailed explanation of how to do it? I saw another post about this, but it only applied to the L.A. Mod missions, not the original ones. EDIT: This is what I found earlier, which only seems to be the case for the new missions of Los Angeles Mod: http://forum.emergen...ling-a-mission/
  3. When I play the more difficult Campaign missions (like the earthquake mission), I try to proceed cautiously, rather than rushing in carelessly, especially since my personnel won't even get away from danger on their own. Since I have to control literally every action my units make, and I struggle with controlling more than one group at a time, I can hardly handle "several-front wars," or simultaneously dealing with several major incidents at different parts of the map. Unfortunately, missions end when there are "too many injured" or fires have "spread out-of-control," so I often can't play missions in the way that works for me. Basically, I want to be able to play missions through to the end, instead of the mission ending because of too many casualties or uncontrolled fires. If I get a bad score, so be it, but I want to play from start to finish. I looked for previous posts about this, but I couldn't find any helpful information. Thanks.
  4. Thanks for your quick reply. I'm glad this mod is still active.
  5. Since there haven't been any posts for awhile, I thought I would ask: Is this mod still being actively developed? I'm not expecting any estimated time until release. I just want to know if there is still progress being made, or if I should continue to wait at all.
  6. You could have a mission where you need to keep under control a large protest.
  7. Here are some more photos I've taken previously that I found, with some extra angles on the DHS vehicle, and some of an Amtrak Police car. US Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Service Amtrak Police (front) and DHS (back) Amtrak Police The video below also shows these vehicles briefly (they can be seen between 2:10 and 2:23). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_JyS2itBIs By the way, even if you don't include the Pentagon into your mod, I would like to see Pentagon Police vehicles. Unfortunately, I only have one somewhat blurry image. Here are a few others: http://images49.fotk...P7040002-vi.jpg http://www.flickr.co...afs/6268473530/ http://farm9.static...._c9a87901df.jpg http://www.flickr.co...ves/3531683365/ http://www.flickr.co...erg/2869910179/
  8. Here is the link to an album with all the photos I took of Washington, D.C.'s emergency services that I could find: http://imageshack.us/g/1/9944417/ Also, you can find some more pictures I took of a DHS (Department of Homeland Security) Police vehicle, which show more of it than the ones from D.C: http://imageshack.us/g/1/9944428/ This video I took then briefly shows the lights of that vehicle (from the front only, unfortunately): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sdr8HRFJqVQ&feature=youtu.be I hope this helps with your mod.
  9. I spent a week in Washington, D.C. a few months ago, so here are some pictures that might help you with this mod: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/407/washingtondcemergencyve.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/a/img577/3904/uscapitolpolicewithcapi.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img831/3041/unitedstatescapitolpoli.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img138/3041/unitedstatescapitolpoli.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img844/3041/unitedstatescapitolpoli.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img706/3041/unitedstatescapitolpoli.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img197/6223/fbiheadquarterswashingt.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img13/6223/fbiheadquarterswashingt.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img842/6223/fbiheadquarterswashingt.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img203/6223/fbiheadquarterswashingt.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img11/6223/fbiheadquarterswashingt.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img856/6223/fbiheadquarterswashingt.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img836/6223/fbiheadquarterswashingt.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img171/5795/amtrakpolice1.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img39/7966/amtrakpolice2.jpg Also, if you are interested, you can take a look at this: http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.php?/topic/16463-vh-60n-marine-one-helicopter/ I never planned to release it, so you will need permission from the model's creator.
  10. I've been looking for a mod that has a Freeplay map with the landmarks and realistic look of a major city (such as Washington, D.C.), as well as the emergency vehicles that go along with it. I've seen the idea of a Washington, D.C. mod in the Forums a few times, and also Manhattan Mod. Unfortunately, I can't get Freeplay to open in Manhattan Mod (it always crashes while loading), and I haven't found anything else that might fit what I'm thinking of. Los Angeles Mod works for me, but it doesn't have the kind of map that I'm looking for. Washington, D.C. would be a good example, where the White House, Washington Monument, and other things that are distinctly unique to the city are visible and accessible in Freeplay. It would also be my first choice. I would appreciate any responses that point to a mod that is either completed or seriously being worked on.
  11. This is the link to image I used for this: http://upload.wikime..._Marine_One.jpg The Marine One in this image (http://upload.wikime..._Whitehouse.jpg) obviously has a very different shape, and requires a model that doesn't exist in L.A. Mod. I have no modeling skills, and creating a model myself is far outside my knowledge.
  12. I got the reskinned vehicle into the Editor, but I still don't know how to turn it into a functioning unit. By the way, here is a link to a post with images of the reskinned helicopter, if anyone is interested: http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.php?/topic/16463-marine-one-helicopter/
  13. NOTE: All credit for the Blackhawk model goes to its creator. This is only for personal use. I just finished a modified version of the Blackhawk helicopter from Hoppah's Los Angeles Mod. I would like to hear opinions about it, but please be constructive. This helicopter is meant to look like, for those who might not know, one of the United States Marine Corps helicopters, which is called "Marine One" when the President of the United States is on board. I can't think of any realistic purpose for this in the game, but here it is regardless: I haven't been able to add this into Freeplay so far, as I don't know how to add this to the game without getting rid of the original Blackhawk, which I want to use at the same time. Any tips that allow me to get this into Freeplay successfully will be greatly appreciated.
  14. These are the steps that I followed: 1. Copied existing .dds file (In this case blackhawk.dds) and renamed it 2. Renamed file from ________.dds to __________.V3O 3. Opened file in the Editor and unpacked it 4. Renamed file from _______.V3O to ________.dds 5. Opened file in Paint.net and made changes 6. Renamed file from ________.dds to ___________.V3O 7. Opened file in the Editor and repacked it 8. Renamed file from ________.V3O to __________.dds 9. Moved file into C:\Program Files (x86)\WizardWorks\911 - First Responders\Mods\Los Angeles Mod v2.1\Models\Vehicles\05 US Army I copied and renamed blackhawk.dds because I want both the original Blackhawk helicopter and my new version of it in Freeplay together. I hope this answers your questions.
  15. Thank you for your reply, but I already know how to do what that video is explaining. I think the problem is more towards the end of the process, where I need to add the new skin, then get the unit into Freeplay, however that is to be done.
