A quick update, recent events have led me to change my thoughts on basic members joining in the clan summit and because of that the summit set for sunday the 24 at 12pm eastern us time will be open for everyone! Guest are to be in the teamspeak atleast 30 minutes before the summit starts for processing, please note clan heads and attending officers need only join at the start time but the teamspeak will be open all morning for folks to come in and chat with the iem staff and anyone else attending the event. When joining please list your clan beside your name. Only clan leaders and there accompanying officers will be able to speak or type during the event so dont ask. Finally after much laziness and some inability to get the file up anywhere but on em planet ive finally done it! wow guys..... just wow. Mad dog im sorry to hear that, i myself of course run a clan so i rather enjoy the realism side with a bit more structure as apposed to a more pub type game style of drop in drop out play. I do how ever perfectly see where your coming from and even now with as many clans as are around theres always gonna be folks like you wanting a more relaxed game style. lol maybe the clans need to form a seperate not so realistic clan for grouping you guys n gals together. Its certainly something ill look into and regardless i hope you have some awesome games in em5.

It is with great pride that i announce the First Clan Summit. In the past the major clans of EM4 have hardly gotten along let alone decided to become peaceful with one another and work together to make a better gaming experience for all the emergency community. The emergency series isnt some couch huggers fps or some rpg set in mystical worlds with pandas and scantly clad females, no it is a team based strategy where one mistake can cost entire crews there lives and double the need for resources. Each clan is different in its own right, but when you enter a game room and your 3 buddies choose an emergency service ie. police, fire, ems, you know there's no more rivalries, there's the job at hand and nothing is gonna change that clan or no clan. So this meeting signifies the ending of rivalries in a game that shouldn't have EVER had rivalries and starts to form bonds of brotherhood among the highest ranks of each clan. To all clan leaders large and small we offer an invitation to the summit for you and 1 of your officers or members that you trust to help represent you. To everyone else clan or not i hope that you will support the clans in this endeavor to erase everything but friendly competition from our future and put away past issues that have scarred the clan system for everyone of the emergency community. I personally feel that the clans making peace is the first step towards a truly amazing coexistence. The clans for EM4 or even EM5 or any game in the future are NOT going away, people want to game together its in our nature to want to be part of groups. The clans themselves are amazing groups, but not all people can get along its never going to happen, if one clan head cant get along with another clan head those two clans wont coexist with any decency simply because of disputes. I try with my clan to keep friendly or at least open lines of communication to not only the clan heads but to modders and the like and it honestly alway had a benefit to my clan so in closing im proud of what is being asked here, and i fully support "not merging" a coming together of all the clans if only just for the clans to keep a finger on the pulse of the community at large per say. Even among two clans who hate one another the old saying know thy enemy stands strong. Excellent idea for a poll nathan.

It is with great pleasure that i get set to reopen IEM's doors. Seems ill have more than just squad 55 to compete with for memebers this time around lol, but i am glad to see some new clans on the block now and will be eager to sit down with all of you soon. First off reece, yes your are correct in that and that decision was made prior to Nathan becoming an officer and i let it slip my mind to explain Emergency planet operations but as far as that post goes it is perfectly fine with me. As creator of the Mod expressly for IEM use i feel he deserves praise not only on this thread but within the clan. All too often you find people here on these forums not willing to allow anyone to use anything from their work and thats fine but Nathan heeded the call when we needed our own mod. If you have any further comments like that please personally message me and do not clutter the recruitment thread, thank you.

quite right you are dyson but as up to this point we had no mod of our own and were not sctively playing games we had no footage. I intend to fix this problem within a few days but as you know everything takes time. Thank you for your suggestions though
