No I installed the coronas. The coronas are more for the lights on the vehicles not for big white boxes on the map.

You may be having a memory leak bug that causes your hardware to display artifacts (glitches) due to a lack of memory.

What are your system specs; CPU, GPU, RAM?

What you are describing sounds similar to a few isolated reports that we got for the old Montana Mod, where glitches appeared in people's playthroughs after 2-3 calls. I personally experienced this but only after a 30 minute session.

This might have been brought up before, but I am often encountering two bugs.

1) Pedestrians flood into the street and don't move when an incident happens, making me have to move them individually (believe this is an EM4 issue, not a mod issue)

2) Traffic gets really bad if you ever have to redirect them. They will get stuck turning from the left lane, causing major traffic issues. You cannot redirect them again since EM4 doesn't allow you to redirect traffic twice...

Just erase all traffic with traffic debug command at any control panel.

 

@airconswitch No, the core of the mod will stay the same, we are going to fix the bugs and add some new features (and restrict people from private and other DIY addons).

At first congrats on awesome mod. Lots of great units  and amazing lightning.

The gameplay is very dynamic and interesting not boring like in some mods.

I know we had some bad time between us because of other people for Chicago mod but I want to leave it in the past.

I will offer you to finish the map texturing for the Miami mod for thanks for you letting me to use yours ARFF truck models in my mods.

And you can submit this as separate patch in the future.

You need to install the Coronas that are included with the modification

New version 2.1 is out, you need to redownlaod the mod:

- Added multiplayer;
- Added surfboard and fire extinguisher for lifeguards;
- Added permanent coronas folder for people that don't read manual;
- Swapped detective for RID officer;
- Fixed bird flu call;
- Fixed for the firehydrants near wallmart;
- Fixed paths and traffic list;
- Numerous changes and improvments on the map;
- Fixed parking lots in the garage;
- New incidents. (Like new RTC);
- Fix for traffic lights causing jams. (Use traffic debug if you still got problems);
- Corrected spawn points for bat chief called untis;
- 4x Swat callout shouold no longer make 2 trucks stuck in each other;
- Dispatch calling out unit now have beep sound;
- Slowed down callouts rate;
- Permanently removed snow blizzard and units saboteur calls;
- Fixed firestations parking spots. (If you got stuck you can use parking script to unstuck it);
- Fixed stepping on a ladder inside firestation;
- Fixed persons on a roof;
- Tweaked all models to use less memory - should lag less on low end PCs.

Not fixed yet:
- Police station parking lots;
- Roadblocks pickup.
