Here is a few ideas I have been thinking off.

 

Like a radio mod for the officer in charge of the pump... for example you click on them, it gives you a radio symbol and you click on it, and you can request ambo, police and then make pumps.

so if you select make pumps 3, the mobilize on there own. Then at the same time, if you sort the fire or incident out, you select no further assistance required.

 

may be really hard to make!

 

Good thing to see on the map, is maybe a fire and rescue training centre, so they have a few drill towers in a yard and a swimming pool and other bits? you could also keep spare pumps there, or even build it on to the back of a fire station?

 

just a little one.... before you hear the turnout noise, maybe make a turnout printer noise, and maybe turn out the lights on station when you turn a pump out.

 

Any more i can think off I will post.

I will look into the training centre its if I can find space on the map, same goes for the foot ball pitch.

 

the radio script probably won't be added as it would require the back to station script which I am having issues with.

 

I will try to add a medic bad to the PSU vans

Ive seen it, i agree its quite interesting to see what they have.

 

UPDATE ON NEW UPDATE

 

I plan on releasing V0.6 sometime next week so unfortunately i will not be adding things to the mod, just fixing bugs. Im glad that i have got to this stage as lately my PC has been restarting and having lots of errors.

 

Thank you for all the support and i hope you enjoy the mod when its released

Please read the guide as it contains a list known bugs

 

A way to make it easier to park fire engines is to deactivate there blue lights and then use shift+right click to move them, the vehicles will move slower and will be easier to control 

 

CHANGES

  • Reduced the number of units on the map
  • New PDF guide to the mod
  • fully working callout menu
  • various map changes
    • Added new areas (powerplant etc)
    • Changed the main fire station
  • various fixes
  • Added a foot patrol script
  • Added TASER script
  • Added panic button script
  • Added the ability for police officers to call for backup and an ambulance
  • Added many new vehicles
    • Fixed alot of sirens
  • And much more

the game crashes immedatly to desktop when i load the mod

Is this to be treated as a new mod or just added to the last mod folder?

Oh yes,

 

the he multiplayer works and is playable in this update but unfortunately some features are not available. But as I said you can play multiplayer on the mod
