This is a side project I decide to do for fun. There will be no new scripts or a new map, just a complete set of retro themed units for the LA mod. This project is planned to only cover the most essential units within the game. An early 2000's unit set will be released in this project, however it will only replace the lowest quality models in the mod. 7/30/22 Major 80's units assets are released. New scripts and features added too. Be sure to check back regularly for updates and glitch fixes. They will be announced in this thread. The future plans for this mod are the following: - 90s Civilian Cars - Helicopters for various agencies However, I would like to go back to finishing Montana mod now that this project is out. Expect the full V1 of this submod to be released after Montana mod has been completed.

About 2 months ago I started working on a modification of bringing Gta San Andreas and Vice City emergency services to Emergency 4, such as SAPD, FDSA, VCPD, and FDVC. The submod will bring cops from big cities like Los Santos, San Fierro (I'll add their iconic mustache), Las Venturas and Vice City, and will also bring cops from the rural areas of the game. Another thing it will bring will be the beta cops that appear in the trailers and images of Gta San Andreas and Vice City, but in the case of Gta San Andreas there are beta cops that are in the archives of the game itself (It ended up making my skins creation work easier, thanks Rockstar). For now, the submod is 80% complete. There are still a few things left to finish, but it can be said that it is almost done. Video with VCPD units: I will post more videos soon. My ideas for submod: I also intend to replace the guy who dispatches calls in freeplay with the dialogues of the cops from the police radios (I already did that with the VCPD radio dialogs). I'm trying to learn how to add new calls to Em4 so I can add calls involving gang fights (and add zombies to the Raccoon City submod). Well, I'm going to take the plunge and announce officially my attempt at a mod. This is mostly a reskin of LA Mod, but I'm hoping to change the vehicles spawned and if I do this right, changing out a few models along the way also. FIRST - THANKS TO HOPPAH and EM4Life. Thanks for letting me use your original stuff as the starting point for my mod. I have some ideas for where I want to go, so I may need to get some other permissions down the line, and I will be only to happy to credit where credit is due. If I accidentally use something you created and I didn't ask for permission, PLEASE let me know and I'll happily either remove it or give credit (whichever you choose). As of now, I'm only reskinning the LA Mod, with EM4Life's light mod as my starting point, so for now I'm pretty sure I'm safe. Hometown, USA will be a Wisconsin based mod just because I need to pick a state for the state police, and since I live here, it's what I know. Here are some of the units I've reskinned so far. Most of the vehicles you probably recognize. The Red Cross Hummer, I'm retasking as a EMS Special Response Unit, and added Jaws and Chainsaw to the equipment. Idea is this is sent along to Mass Casualty incidents as support Paramedics to help with Triage and Rescue operations. This is just a start. Along the way I may need some help as my scripting experience is NON-EXISTENT, but with the support the members here have shown, I know I'll get some advice to help when I get stuck!
