Nice start for that Mod. Did you planed a new map?
There is a nice rural town map in the emergency fanforum (http://www.emergency-forum.de/filebase/index.php?entry/2534-kleinstadt-freeplay-map-1-1-spielbare-karte/)
Nice to see, that you use my pierce engine.

I am planning a new map, and I dont think i would be able to use the rural map, Katy is more of a Suburban Town with a population of 15K plus all the unincorporated subdivisions around it and has two major highways

The map looks cool, but its way too European to pass off for rural Texas. willowfork would end up doing more work trying to convert that existing map into an American one, verus creating a purpose built scratch map from the beginning.

I have to agree with itch, while the map does in fact look cool, it wouldn't pass for a rural american town. It would be easier to make one of Katy by summarizing the township into the map. Add your two major highways, residential areas and a couple landmarks(malls, clubs, stadiums, etc.) rather than removing all the European buildings and adding all the american ones in, not to mention adding the Emergency services on map with their proper stations and VO's.

Although the lights for the engine look really good!

If you do a custom map I would suggest bounding it between FM-1463 and HWY-99 for east and west then Kingsland Blvd and Morton Rd (or even make Franz your last major east-west) for north and south, then just generalize the features. That way you get the fire station, police station and Memorial Hermann Katy plus the highways, a touch of commercial and a touch of residential.

Kinda what I was planning. And on your other comment about Cy Fair, I am thinking about adding in a couple units for MA but not sure yet.

I like what i see, your skinning skills are improving! Keep it up!

As for the things that need to be improved - the white stripe on the back goes on top of sliding equip doors sides, witch is a bit not real. Here's example what i mean http://imgur.com/aOKdYCK

Also the ambulance with you did before, great too, but have no lightbar or flasshers on the front.

Thanks for the advice. I work on the equipment doors and the lights for the Ambo.

I would also add the black lines on top of the white too. like the black lines you see on top of the red. but thats just me

On my personal mod I went and did a darker version of the primary color for the lines.  For example, on the red of the slide up doors, instead of black I did a darker red, and on the white I did a grey.  This gives a shadow impression more like looking at a truck, than the hard line of a black separator.

Just my personal opinion.

Play with it!  see what you like.  But I do agree that the white stripe without some markings makes it look less realistic.
