911 FR (EM4) Missing Map Upon Startup (Purchased via Steam)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have recently purchased 911 First responders (EM4)  via steam. When I boot the game, the main menu appears, and I click career. When the game loads, there is no map textures, I can see road markings, lignts from vehicles and smoke from what I can only assume are smokestacks. I have attached the DxDiag, logfile and a screenshot of the game in the state I have described. All game cache files have been verified. I have only purchased the game today and have tried reopening the game as well as restarting steam and restarting my computer and this continues to be the problem.

Any assistance in solving this issue would be greatly appreciated

Alright, I know exactly what's going wrong here, (at least why it happens on my old PC anyways), basically your PC's graphics card does not like the shadows or something like that, what I did to fix it is to turn off all shadow. If that does not work then keep them turned off and change all graphics settings to low.
