KillerConstis Mini Mod [February Update]

Thank you all for the kind words.

 

However now it gets even more expressive

 

-XBOX controller supported (cant control camera yet, unluckily)

-buttons for siren ,exiting vehicles and getting into the 3rd Person Camera

-skybox (that's what you labeled as horizon - luckily I got the Code from one of the Developers)

-Navigation with the Minimap (right click at it, as if would execute a Move Comand)

-smoother driving

-front wheels are turning (the model still rotate with it's pivot)

-recorded with Ultra Settings

-hotkeys from keyboard are broken and need to be redone (to allow both -controller- and -keyboard- support

-collisions with persons, very few objects,and Vehicles work if you drive forward (disabled when driving backward else the vehicles would get stuck)

Looking even better now Consti. 

Two things: Are you adding this for foot units, and are you trying to get a higher draw distance working? It really is bugging me that the draw distance is so low. Of course it's better than nothing but that would be a great bonus.

Just for the record, as you just released your 3.0 mod, is this mod the add-up of all your former mods, so I would not have to install your former mods as well or is each of your mods complete;y new and there for needs to be installed as such? 

Nevertheless, your doing an astonishing job!

I've just completed the camera support for the controller.

 

The next thing is a Command that lets the crew automaticly enter the selected vehicle. After that is done I'm doing keyboard support (both shouldnt take too long). After that I'll create a function for persons and the possibility for helis to land (or I dont do helis at all - in my tests they sucked badly (clipping, not very smooth flying etc). I have no idea how to influence the draw distance right now, maybe I find a hint sometime.

@Robert: In the Version 3.0 is everything included but the 3rd Person System which I m currently working on. And there is just "one" Minimod. Sometimes I offered a hotfix if sth has gone totally wrong (like Crashes) in the past but there is currently none.

Thank you for posting us the NL2.0 fixer. You now also made the NL-mod playable with the 3.0 version; chapeau!! There are some bugs in it I noticed (like the emergency vehicles not stopping their sirens automatically when arriving at the scene and the non-possibillity of the policemen clearing up the traffic ribbon they placed), but for that of course you're not to be held responsible for. This was never your mod in the first place, and secondly: I guess, you just posted us "the fixer" to do us a favour by making the NL-mod working again whitout any "fine tuning" - no more than that.

I don't suppose I could talk you into it to shine your light on our Dutch Mod and/or maybe even willing to consider to start working with the Dutch mod as well? As I did so over the years with "FrozenOne-94" and "BentheGamer", I've aided them with tips, suggestions and comments on the NL-Mod to have the NL-mod get all its approvements and to have it made, the way it is today. As I understood, they both appreciated my assistance very much. Should you be interested, and be willing to make the time to also work on the Dutch Mod, I'd be happy to assist you as well, As you probably know, I'm not a modder myself but I do am a Dutch former ambulance driver, thus familiar with the work of the Dutch Emergency Services.

Would you be so kind to post your first respond here on the forum so that the players of the Dutch Mod would know what your decision would be? Should you (hopefully) be willing to take care of the Dutch Mod yourself as well, I know that the Dutch Mod-players will realize that, purely by your knowlegde of modding,  there now would be a real professional (!) future in our Dutch Mod. It is hardly NOT to notice that your mods are just GREAT and alsways something to look forward to. Should you also, in that case, be interested in my help (for what its worth of course), our communication could then continue through Private Mail.

this pretty much nailed it. I just wanted to help out to make it playable again as it just took 10 minutes, but I wont develop it anymore... sorry for that

Then I hereby appeal for any other moderator who is willing to pick up the Dutch Mod again to make the best of it. As always, I'm offering my help as written above.

Well I've found some time to fix some more bugs of the dutch mod

 

Changelog:

-the animation of the ladder truck and heavy rescue truck are fixed

-policeman can remove tape

-the brake of the patrol car is now working as intended

-Unlocked Door for paramedics with injuries (ambulance car)

-changed the main door of the ambulance to the backdoor (passenger door) to let doctors enter the vehicle

-dekonp use ABC Firefighters

-EM2017 eventpool is used in freeplay

-Policeman got some more commands which are required to solve new missions

-siren lenght reduced to make them stop after the vehicles have arrived their destination

Great man! Thanks! You're the best! Since you've also made it possible to let the MOD work with EM2017, I just hope to find any moderator, inpired by your work, who might be willing to pick up the work and building on the Dutch Mod again.

A new update has been uploaded, which improves the Behaviour of the new crane, adds multiplayer compatible "Splitting" of paramedic teams and improves the debuging functions of the headquarter in the campaign.

I downloaded from the Dropbox mirror, but it's missing the default.rml file mentioned in the readme. 

Is this file no longer necessary, or is it actually missing by accident?

Hey Killerconsti, I need some help. Whenever I go to the links to download the mod through the Emergency 5 filebase it says I am not authorized to view this page. For both rar links. Is there another way to download this mod without using Drop Box? Or is there away to fix this problem?

Registration is required to see most screenshots and get permission to download files at emergency-forum.de . Hope that helps

 

I'd however recommmend to use this one:

it holds a beta of the 3.4 and two mods that are made to work with the minimod. Also registration isnt required. The downside is that the website itself misses some pages and is in german
