Adding in the 2 tanker task forces and then a brush assignment, this added up to an 8 alarm fire. It was decently windy yesterday and the people renting that house out were burning leaves. Needless to say the fire got away from them and then spread to a tree which spread to the house. The Battalion chief pulled up and requested the box alarm. Within 5 minutes he requested a 2nd alarm. 10 minutes later he requested the 4th alarm for tankers only and then the 2 tanker task forces. Later in the fire they filled the rest of the 4th and 5th alarm.
