Nice mod, bud I have some troubled:

 

1) Game crashes when I'm trying to go to main menu after or in game. 

2) After a long play (~2h free play) game did the same crash to the windows. 

3) Bomb squad cannot use a robot. (Theres an option, but no robot in SUV or SWAT vehicles.)

4) Coroners are in the Police section. You should move them to the Medics and plase a Parking place near the hosptal (If its not so hard).

5) Traffic lights are not flashing while other lights are off. 

6) Police cannot request EMS. (Better if they could).

 

Sorry for mistakes I did and I like this mod! Had a rest of playing for ~2 years and you did so many things like hosing truck and hydrant and others.

Great news! Can't wait to play!

 

2 minor things; "Readme & Credits.txt" contains old data. Also, i'm not sure about this reg key that is included... e4mod.key

 

The readme is updated in 4.6.2  :happy:

 

Just played a bit but things got out of hand very quickly whilst we normally can play for hours without issues.

 

We got a lot more events, simultaneously as well as subsequent. E.g. 3 times earthquake in 90 minutes real-time gameplay, including gas explosions, huge fires, crane accident, many more. Unable to keep up with 2 players.

 

Bugs we noticed:

1) Hospital is not working anymore. Both ambulances and the life-liner did not 'drop' their SO's. They just keep sitting there.

2) Although fires were put out and alarms reset, some missions stayed open. This eventually lead to "out of control" because there was no way of solving past missions.

 

Hope u have any suggestions or fixes for the above.

 

The addition for fire alarms is very cool tho, we like it a lot!

 

 

1) The hospital should be working fine.. could you describe any further details? 

2) This is fixed in the 4.6.2 patch

In the harbor city mod, multiplayer is what we focus our attention on. 99% of the aspects on the mod are how the clan runs things in multiplayer.

 

1 & 2) Would need a log file to better determine the cause of the crash.

3 & 6) This is also done purposely for our multiplayer clan.

4) This is purposely put in the police section for our clan's multiplayer use. PD runs coroner in PD games.

5) This will be looked into.

#2 ; I've played a good 4-hour game and even saved it and done another around 5 hours consecutive, it might be that your memory is running out for that duration, it's unlikely but possible.

#4 ; typically, the Police Department has a Coroner instead of the EMS, some EMS are private and would not be involved with medical response.

#5 ; am yet to replicate this issue, did you modify any parts of the map or any time scripts? Does this happen frequently or does it happen after a certain event in the area? I know sometimes if a vehicle gets trapped in a clogup, the light does not cycle through until that clogup is cleared.

I haven't had the opportunity yet to test the hospital, will do so the next time we play.

BTW, rescue 6 still exists in Endless, but cannot be send to station.

Some other suggestions i have;

Could you create extra police parking places at stations 1 and 4, because now there are simply not enough in my opinion. I believe patrol 1 does not have a parking place (the other patrol cars do), yet you end up having just 5 police cars in the entire map. I understand that creating extra places requires more patrol cars (as in unique numbering), but maybe you can think of another solution. Now i just buy more patrol cars of the same type and place them somewhere near the road.

I also wonder why medics 5 and 6 are at the same station, although the overall 'spread' of medics is fine (especially compared to police).

Last but not least is to move station 3 up higher in the map, because now it is very close to 7 and at the top left of the map there is basically nothing.


Just tested... H is working, game crashed again after 30 minutes.

. The police hq is right next station 1 so Park patrol 1 there. Also there is police car that parks near station 4. In fact three patrol cars Park in South. 4 5 and 6

- NEXT TIME ; Right after you crash, do the following and then open up a Technical Support Thread with all the information below, we cannot go off simply the duration, we need to see what is happening to the game for it to be crashing -

 

2).Have your logfile from your game so that it may be reviewed.

EX: C:\Program Files\Wizardworks\Emergency 911 First Responders\Logfile.txt.

3).Get your DirectX Diagnostic Log

Start:

Run:

Type in dxdiag and press ok.

After it does it's diagnostic save the information and upload it.

4).List your system specs if the information of your hardware does NOT match the DX Diag or information was omitted from the report.

Please also remember to use the "Upload" file or "Wrap in Code Tags" options to attatch your DirectX Diagnostic log or your Logfile.txt so that they can be viewed without consuming a large quantity of a page. To upload the file, just browse and select the .txt file and press "UPLOAD" and they will be attatched. The alternative will produce a code box around your choosen text, preserving all coded information as it belongs. Harbor City 5 is in development. 

 

Going to take several months to complete. If everything goes as planned I'm hoping to release it in Spring 2016. 

 

I'll post here when I have any updates on the mod for you but expect that to also take several weeks before I have anything worth showing off.

Version 5 Police Preview:

 

In version 5 I am introducing 2 brand new models the Dodge Ram and the Ford Taurus. Both vehicles were made by myself, including model, UV mapping, skin, and lights.

Still a small glitch with the reflection with a few of the doors but that should be fixed before the full release!
