GTA IV police cars to Em4

GTA 4 models normally have REALLY high poly counts, and would make EM4 lag a lot. The models are usually too detailed for EM4 to cope with.The lag would probably make the game unplayable. So as far as I know, it's not possible to put GTA 4 models in EM4.

Having said that, I haven't tried it. I'm not 100% sure whether or not it's possible, although I'm sure someone on the forums will have more knowledge of it.

I know that you have to switch the model files first from whatever it is in gta4 to v3o and there is ALOT of depolygonizing to be done since you do have to eliminate all interior features of the car.

Well its funny you started about that Newfoundking. Sunday i've imported a model of gta SA a high detailed model when i look up in Zmodeler. After deleting some uneccesary things i exported it to .v3o and it worked great. I didnt have any lag. The polycount was just above the 40K and i placed 8 times the same in the editor next to each other. so it had 160K of polygons loaded. So it really doesnt matter.
