In some mods the police can get traffic cones in the policecars and put them down as a roadblocks... I want to add that to the Normal/Standard Police Cars..... Can anybody help me i am not used to add stuff to the cars... Please Help me.....

I have some experience with making missions. I know how to use the editor but one big problem has got me stuck. I know that every mission must have a script to control the mission events. But I want to make a simple mission with no objectives and events. How can I do that? Anything helps.

Hi, i have been question this before, but i ask it again When i try install this mod, this says than i dont have emergency 3 :/

So my mod installer dont work it says Emergency 3 is not propely installed please reinstall i reinstalled but still dont work and edited the regedit but no can someone say what is wrong?

For all of the people who have downloaded the game and tried to use the mod installer but constantly get the error message saying the game isnt installed right I have the posible fix for you. Finally tech suport wrote me back with a fix. it worked for me and now I can run the Mod Installer. Here is the email exactly how they sent it to me: The Emergency 3 Mod Installer may require a registry entry tweak in order to function correctly. NOTE: Modifying or deleting the wrong registry key may cause serious damage to your Windows installation. If you are uncomfortable, have someone who is more computer savvy do it for you. We will be creating the registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\sixteen tons entertainment\Emergency 3 US. Within it we will have the Value name 'Installdir' with the value data '[installation directory]'. Please follow these instructions exactly: 1) Start regedit by selecting Start - Run, typing in 'regedit' and then hitting 'OK'. 2) Select 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE' and press the '+' button to its left to expand the list. 3) Next, select 'SOFTWARE' and press the '+' button to its left to expand the list. 5) Right-click on 'SOFTWARE' and select New > Key. Enter the new key name: sixteen tons entertainment 6) Right-click on 'sixteen tons entertainment' and select New > Key. Enter the new key name: Emergency 3 US 7) Right-click on 'Emergency 3 US' and select New > String value. Enter the new key name: Installdir 8) Right-click on the 'Installdir' string value and select Modify. In the 'Value Data' field, enter the full path of your installation directory. By default, this value is C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Emergency 3 Now, exit the registry editor by selecting the File menu and then clicking on Exit. The Emergency 3 Mod Installer should now function correctly. Like I said it fixed my problems and I can finally use the mod installer. I hope the helps everyone else with this problem! Oh and 911: Fighters for Life isn't comming out in the US until 4/17/07 if that early. UPDATE 4/6/07: I fixed the instructions. #8 is now correct. Also 911: First responders is now due out Sometime in May... Amazon says: 5/30/07 in the US. Another Site says 5/17/07. So really no one still knows.

I recently purchased and downloaded 911: First Responders from Amazon.com and it works great, but I mainly got it for using it with the New York Mod and unfortunately, the Mod Installer isn't working. Every time I open it, it says something to the affect of "911 First Responders is not installed properly. Please reinstall." (I am correct that there is no other way to install mods, right?) I called amazon and they said that there was nothing they could do, but they did give me a refund. I just want to know if there is anything I can do the troubleshoot this. (I already uninstalled/reinstalled a couple times with no success.) Thanks! (**I just noticed that I put this in the wrong forum. Okay i bought emergency 3 from Direct2Drive but when i patch it says please put in the emergency 3 disk but i can't because i got it from Direct2Drive, please tell me there is a way around this i really want to try LA Mod being since im from America, can anyone help me?

Look I've tried everything to download the mod. Can someone just please do me a solid and attach the file to their post, please? Thanks for any help, because with emergency 3 I'm getting no help.

Hi All, Im not big in the area of changing files within games, however am looking for help to make the gameplay more enjoyable. I located the files under the specs folder in an attempt to change the settings to lower certain occurances under freeplayparameters (re fire, explosions). I open the file up with notepad, and also with wordpad than changed the setting, however was unable to save the changes I had made. This message opens " Cannot create the C:/Program Files (x86)/Strategy First/Emergency 3/Data/Specs/freeplayparameters.xml file. Make sure that the path and file name are correct." Should I be opening the file up with a certain program? or do something different? Please Help Cheers,

Hello, On my old PC, I had EM3 working with patch 1.1 UK plus loads of mods and everything was fine. The computer went wonk so I got a new one and re-installed EM3. Now only patch 1.3UK exists and I have tried to install it 3 times without any luck, mainly because the Readme is useless. It says: INSTALLATION Although it never says this, I presume it needs to be unzipped first...? - Make a backup of your /Emergency 3 Directory How does one achieve this? - Copy following directorys and files (situated in the patch 3 directory) to your /Emergency 3 Directory: * Data (Directory) * Mods (Directory) * em3.cfg (File) * Em3.exe (File) * ModInstaller.exe (File) * vBase71.dll (File) * vision71.dll (File) Is this done by Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V or is something different needed? In addition, this will overwrite files, as there already is a Data and Mods folder in my EM3 directory. Do I want it to overwrite? When is says "A Folder named Data exists, do you wish to overwrite?" Do I click Yes? Yes to All? No? - Double click on the file you just copied, ModInstaller.exe. IF it opens, it works. If it doesn't open, then what? - Close the mod installer - Run your game - If your game works, delete the backup and the patch is successfully installed If it doesn't work, then what? - Make a shortcut of ModInstaller.exe to run the mod installer How would I go about achieving this? hi!, mi name is Jaco. I've installed emergency 3 on mi notebook. It's a compaq presario C700, Intel core 2 duo 2.1GHz, 4 gb RAM and a Intel 965gm chipset video with 358 MB RAM. I run on Windows Seven ultimate 64 bits. When i run the em3.exe, it starts, but i got no image. I got sound, and the game seems to be running, but there's no game image on my screen. I've got the latest driver of the GPU and i tried running con compatibility mode. Here's the log file of the game and mi dxdiag. Any idea??? Thanks! DxDiag.txt logfile.txt

Hello everyone. I need help and have already searched the forum and not found anything. I was with my game running fine without the mod. So I downloaded the mod that is a file extension. e3mod. I can not open this file. but I found that I need the patch 1:01 to 1:02, 1.03 installed to run the mod LA. I already downloaded the patches. so that when I go INSTALLING the following message appears: Emergency 3 is not installed. The installation Will Be aborted. That message applaud how if i can play the game without mod ?? That message Appears in German lenguage! Can someone help me? as i saw. nobody got this problem! thankyou all!

Alright so the problem I'm having here is that I do not know how to replace a skin model i have GIMP 2 Installed and Photoshop CS5 Trial. I unlocked the DDS file and all, Now all i need to do is Replace the Skins. How do i do this?. Here's the main picture of what i wanted. OOPS! Could someone help!! I recently installed the Emergency 3 Patch 3 for the English Version of the Emergency 3 but after it had installed and I went back in to the Emergency 3 Directory the Modification Editor has gone. Is there anyway I can get the Editor Back?

Hey, when i play on EM3 LA MOD the scripting is messed up because when i spawn a vehicle from the fire station or hospital or police station they do not go back to were they are supposed to park. they park at the PD drop-off place like in em4 they stay there they do not go back to there parking place even if i tell them! Now the firetrucks park in back of the firestation in that big parking lot they do not park in the station!! Now the ambulances from the hospital do the same thing the park at the drop off center in hospital without bringing person in hospital same with the police. Also the ambulances in the Fire staion do the same as the fire trucks. HELP ME!!!!! P.S i am not good with modding or submodding so i cant do scripting,mapping,modeling,or anything else that includes modding or submodding! Maybe 1 of you can tell me what i should do like edit this or that? HELP NEEDED!!! I WOULD APPRECIATE IT!!!
