  2. I've been seeing some mods using F150s as emergency vehicles. For their sake, I've made this: Will be included in the upcoming update. Dodge Ram will be done this afternoon.
  3. Yeah....That is what you would need to do. You will need to change the prototype paths in the script though. You also need to copy from the US Army mod the M4 sound and the command icons as well.
  4. The sniper rifle mechanics are hard coded and cannot be changed. You are going to have to modify the M4a1 script to work with those guns.
  5. The red case has some drugs. Mainly for reviving persons who are flatlined. This is found in the RTW and used by the ambulance crew or NEF driver. The specialist doctor with the white case and different uniform is only called on some major events, such as car accidents, severe injuries, dead bodies found, and persons who are in cardiac arrest. He or she has the main supply of drugs.

Some things I've found in the internet over the last few years: Password for computer: QmLnpP Drugs in the white case of the doctor (only available on someBelloc - typo it should read Beloc and is used for high blood pressure and angina. Coradarex- a.k.a. Dobutamine is used for congestive heart failure to raise the blood pressure. Some protocols say to use it when the blood pressure is greater than 100mmhg. Ebrantil- Used to control a hypertension emergency. Etomidate- Is a short acting intravenous anesthetic agent used for the induction of general anesthesia and for sedation for short procedures such as reduction of dislocated joints, tracheal intubation and cardioversion. It has a safe cardiovascular risk profile, and therefore is less likely to cause a significant drop in blood pressure. Use on patients with traumatic brain injury because it is one of the only anesthetic agents able to decrease intracranial pressure and maintain a normal arterial pressure. Ketanest- a.k.a Ketamine or Special "K" is an anesthetic and analgesia agent, in the game one dose will sedate the patient and another dose will induce anesthesia. When used at anesthetic doses, it will usually stimulate rather than depress the circulatory system so it is used in emergency medicine for entrapped patients suffering severe trauma. Because of those characteristics it is also sometimes used in anesthesia for emergency surgery when the patient's fluid volume status is unknown e.g. traffic accidents. Lastic- Used for Congestive heart failure/ Pulmonary Edema. Noradrenalin- a.k.a Norepinephrine is used to treat congestive heart failure/ Pulmonary Edema by raising the blood pressure when it is below 70mmhg. Valium- a.k.a Diazepam is used to control seizures and as a pre treat before cardioversion along with morphine; however I don?t know if the game accepts this as being correct. Asystole would be Atropin. (Recognised as a flat line on the ECG.) Heparin should be used to treat a Myocardial Infarction Drugs in the second section of the Red case that can be administered by the ambulance crew without the doctor present, (click the small arrow icon on the red case to access them):Sultanol- a.k.a subutamol is used to treat asthma. Epinephrine- Used to control allergic reactions, it increases the heart rate, constricts blood vessels and dilates airways. Pulmicort- Treating asthma. Infectokrupp Inhalant- An inhalant version of Epinephrine. Diazepam tube- a.k.a Valium is used to control seizures etc. Nitro Spray- is used to treat a heart attack and/or chest pain it may lower blood pressure and increase heart rate. Panadol- fever and pain I assume? Rectodelt- to treat asthma. Vfib would be Cordarex (Recognised as a wavy jagged line on the ECG)
  7. There is. It is in Models/Objects/Equipment/rifle.v3o The M4 takes the place of the sniper rifle in that mod. The model, sound and muzzle flash effect were changed into a rifle type.
  8. You mean make them have the shooting dynamics of the US Army Mod M4? So you basically want enemies to be able to use those specific guns, and you also want units to be able to automatically use their weapons once threatened? This will take a lot of scripting to be able to implement unfortunately. But if you want a quick and dirty solution, you could simply replace the model file of the default ingame rifle with the one you desire. Note that all persons whether your units or criminals will use that same rifle. So if you want them to be different, you would have to script that.
  9. RCMP mod is almost coming out. They have Silverado models. I dont consider making one because of this. But what you've made is great. Good improvisation of reusing an older unit and just modifying it a bit to suit your purposes.

  14. So I guess there was a mix up when they packaged the mod. Someone should let the developers know. Unless of course this copy of the mod was modified in some way.
  15. He said he was using Boston Mod. I didnt know that it was possible to switch the xml's on those. Its a good possibiliy that is what may have happened.
  16. Not in a while. A long while. I dont know how to model firetrucks yet. The most I'll probably be able to do are brush trucks or light rescue vehicles. Based on pickup trucks from my mod.
  17. I do have a plan on modifying the LaFrance fire engine into an LAFD tiller for my LA Themed vehicle pack. This civil car pack gets priority though.
  18. The SetRotation function is pointed to float childRot. This float value is unassigned. Use the float value used in the p.GetRotation. Try this for the variable spray: Spray.SetRotation(r[0], r[1], r2], r[3], r[4], r[5], r[6], r[7], r[8]);
  19. Hopefully EM5 lives up to the high expectations we've set for it. In fact, most of the first EM4 mods were in fact just reskins. Hopefully models and everything else can be ported over. Upgrading one's PC is an issue as well. My PC can barely reach the specs, so I guess I'll wait until my money tree grows back before I consider my options with the game.
  20. This is just my opinion as of now: I dont necesarily plan on migrating immediately to EM5. I will wait and see its modding capabilities before getting on the bandwagon. Honestly, I dont think any of my models and car packs are going to make it into EM5 simply because of how detailed the default models appear to be. I will definitely be learning the new scripting language of EM5 though. Hopefully we can recreate our beloved LA Mod into EM5 with what we already have. We have the technology.

  23. Not Emc, but here's my opinion: Seems a bit highpoly for a small prop that you can barely see from up in the air, but I wont judge you. Overall, it seems suitable for usage ingame. Just note that too detailed props might increase chances of game crashes. This is why I do not use any custom fire extinguisher, jaws of life, axe, etc, models.
