  1. yeah sorry i just found the fix. if the admins could delete this thread it would be much appreciated
  2. So i recently had to download 911FR off of amazon. When i try to play the different mods, they all work except for the fact that white boxes start flashing instead of lights. I know in the past this has happened but that is because i didnt realize there was a patch for a mod and it had different coronas in it. could the problem be with the coronas? if it is does anyone know how to fix it?
  3. Amazing job on the modification. Simply out done yourself
  4. I dont know about other areas of NJ but a 1st alarm assignment for a reported structure fire is typically 2 engines, 1 ladder, one tender (or tanker), 2 special service unit such as a rescue truck with a cascade and a RIC team (or FAST team, RIT team, etc.) and a rescue squad to set up rehab operations. If i was personally in the officers shoes, i would pass command to the next due arriving unit or officer of higher rank. 1st due engine - Initiate aggressive interior attack 2nd due engine - Hit the hydrant and feed into 1st due engine 1st due truck - take the driveway. Assuming they have a full crew, send the Officer and 2 firefighters inside for primary search and send the rest to the roof for vent Tender - If no hydrants, start a shuttle, request a third engine to the scene and alert Tender Task Force with the closest fill site Special Service Units- cascade stages at rehab location for ease of access and to ensure firefighters go to rehab, RIC team stages at command post Rescue Squad - Send one ambulance crew to stage at the command post with Stretcher, Jump Kit, Suction Unit, AED, ETC. and have a second ambulance crew run Rehab operations away from scene. Any feedback on this is very much welcome!
  5. Did I really get in my car and leave when I saw a bee in my house? HELL YEAH

  6. i find it funny how the rescue squad i am a member of has black over red ambulances as well as red and blue lights on the ambulances, fire engines/trucks, and rescue trucks. (or squad to appease those who call a heavy rescue a squad)...maybe not the color scheme, but the emergency light combo of red/blue is very common here in my part of NJ. Its not like everyone in the world uses one single light color or truck color...lets give the guy a break. and as he said, it is FICTIONAL.
  7. I passed my state firefighter exam!!!!!

  8. SORRY! pay no attention to the tow truck question, didn't read into the comments. and I guess you already know about the crash to desktop.
  9. Just a few quick questions. After a call, do I have to push available or will more calls automatically come in? Can I dispatch tow trucks or will the car accidents just go away? and it seems to crash to desktop after I push available after a call. just thought I would let you know. Great job by the way! it is great to test my emt skills in a video game
  10. temp was about 45 degrees and about 20 miles from shore in the deeper section
  11. I am proud to say I am a member of the rescue squad that successfully found, rescued, and transported 2 juveniles and one adult after they were seen floating in the reservoir in our coverage area. After their kayak capsized, 2 kids and one adult man were floating in the water, kids with PFD's and the adult with a floating object. The squads water rescue services were dispatched along with a BLS both with full crews. Crews on the water rescue team successfully found and saved the 3 after a prolonged exposure to the water. Upon assessment all 3 were found to be moderate to severely hypothermic with core body temperatures ranging from the low 80's to low 90's. The BLS crew did a phenomenal job in warming the patients including wrapping them in the EMT's own turnout gear, uniform shirts, and of course, many blankets. Just want to say KUDOS to the crews last night who selflessly jumped into the frigid waters and the BLS crew who sacrificed life and limb, and their clothes, to keep the patients warm. Great Job to all!
