  1. to build on rafaelmfernandez post, I have imported vehicles and buildings before. many vehicles that are aftermarket made (mod vehicles) have their files locked by the creator and can not be imported into zmodeler. Also you can import vehicles from GTA4 into EM4 however, their is ALOT of stripping down and combining to make it work right. Also you will have very high poloy vehicles which for slower computers will not be able to handle as well. +1 there rafaelmfernandez
  2. what do you mean open .e4p files? what are you trying to do? Ive been modding EM4 for a while now and never had to open an .e4p file.
  3. u must use a registered version of zmodeler to export a .z3d file into .v3o. then it will work in EM4
  4. this all depends on your comp, mine doesnt even break a sweat with this game even with mods/alterations. Also to much smoke can make it impossible to see x_x darn camera anyways to alter it if i remember right just fiddle with the smoke effects in the editor, for me most house fires now produce smoke similar to that on the oil rig mission in the original game, pretty thick and black

Wkboy, I tried running the fire trucks on the left side and even when I put the "road" paths close, they still picked the one on the right, when i deleted the "right lane" then they went to the left, but then nothing was in the right lane. also @frm, for the injuries and fire fighters, if i remember right the mods like LA mod have set so engines and what not cant be damaged, or firefighters take smoke/heat damage only blast and haz. In the editor you can alter all of that. I changed my game around so fires are hotter, do more damage, more smoke, so whenever i have building fires with folks inside they tend to be down when i arrive from smoke or heat. So it required fire fighters with SCBA to go in for the rescue.
  6. So i was wondering and havnt found any information yet, but is it possible to make it so that a Fire Engine has to hook up to a Tanker before the engine can pump water? I know out in our fire district we hardly have a hydrant since its county runs. So we haul our water in Tanker trucks and can either dump a small pool and the engine sucks the water out, our hook the tanker straight to the engine to pump water out.
  7. problem fixed! for anyone else having Minimap problems and wonder whats going on... After u have a proper size DDS file and what not u must add "map OUTER boarders" in the map preferences page in the editor.
  8. x_x i have that file already hoppah, I can see the mini map with the proper image, but it is not clickable, nor does the little blue camera on it move around when u move ur camera.
  9. anyone?? also how to make a screen shot of the map square. i hit the pause button, zoomed "back/up" but i still get this affect \ / its annoying. still cant get it working.. any one know?
  10. so im working on a mod from the ground up, i have a whole new custom map, and ive made a dds. file of the map and i can see the image in the mini map ingame and you can see units moving on the minimap, BUT the camera doesnt move on the minimap to show where your really looking and the minimap is not clickable. plz help
  11. Run ModInstaller then select ur mod and click "pack" on the right hand side. it can take up to several mins depending on the size.

  14. So when playing on MP we have riots get huge, then clear everyone out, and secure area but when we leave more still walk into the area and join the riot but no sign holder? any ideas?
