I think I found out why it wasn't working. When you extract the patcher, it should ask you what .exe you wanna use. Make sure you use the one with the smaller file size, and then it should work. I hope this works for the rest of you.

Would like a better AI. I am not sure if it is because of the LA mod, or the vanilla AI, but the AI likes the cause traffic jams. Other things: Pulling vehicles over, as others have said. Patroling Maybe some stations in vanilla freeplay Some more events, like drunk driving for example. Searching Checkpoints (Places to search vehicles, make sure the driver is not drunk or on drugs, ETC.)

So it's been awhile since I last played, and I decided to play it on my new computer. And everything seems to work fine, except: I can't give orders to units. I can select them, and that's about it. If I right click somewhere, nothing happens, the cursor won't change. I am using Windows 8.1 (I don't think 8 is the issue) and I installed the game on a different drive. And then it suddenly starts working, disregard this thread.

Having some issues. When I load each map, the buildings and several vehicles are missing models.

I dealt with Traffic Jams by blocking entry ways to the map that are connected to the jam, I then let 1 lane go and stopped the other, and then after that lane was clear, I let the other go. And if I cannot get EMS workers to a certain place, I use the helicoptor.

I found a bug involving the patrol fuction: If I even press the patrol button, traffic jams break out all over the city, even if the patrolling vehical never even got to patrol.

I tried messing with my screen res. to fix a graphical issue (I know it is due to a bad res. but I set it too high and I cannot see the full screen and now I cannot access the options menu and in the CFG file I cannot find the screen res. so I can change it back to 800 x 600. Found the awnser, I have to reinstall, the compatibility options better still work afterwards.

I found bugs: 1. In freeplay the civilian drivers AI are causing traffic jams 2. In Freeplay people stand in the street and cause traffic jams 3. In all missions and free play the towtruck drivers have a terrible AI and do not find a good way to their destination The freeplay map I am using is the normal one

People keep standing in front of cars and cause traffic jams and to get rid of them I have to call in a firefighter car
