  1. Woah, this is cool. Looking foward to it! Might I make a suggestion? Change the color of "Coroner" to black would make it more readable and still stick with the color scheme.
  2. Here I have a list of vehicles I think the community needs in order to "refresh" the current state of 3d models in our mods. Currently, most models that are in mods are around the 2013-14 model year, thats the newest we have... The work Good and CFD are doing with the LA Mod upgrade is absolutely amazing, and that will be a huge breath of fresh air for the mod and the community. This list is mostly of civilian/police vehicles, because those are the ones that actually come in model years. Fire trucks are weird in terms of that. On another note, I feel that this list could be a good starting point for anyone wanting to get into modeling. These are things I think we really need and would make new mods feel new! The vehicles are separated through manufacturer and then sub-divided to model year. For example, the 2016 FE and 2017 FE are 3-Dimension-ally the same. So I marked them (16-17) but there were changed made to the look in 2018, and 2019/2020, so they are "different" vehicles per say. NOTE: So, running up to 2019-2020 years, these vehicles are not even available to the public yet. So putting them into realistic mods, might not be the best idea, as we do not know what departments are going to run these vehicles. I know some departments (Namely the NYPD) are currently testing the new 2020 Police Responder Hybrid. Now fictional mods should be fine, but its just a reminder, maybe these vehicles could wait a little while. Also, there are slight differences between the 2020 FE Civ, and the 2020 FPIU. In terms of side trim and front bumber, so It would be unrealistic to use a 2020 FE Civ for a department vehicle over the 2020 FPIU, unmarked is a different story, but it is something to keep in mind. Okay, finally, the list. I am not TELLING anyone to make these, I think its just an idea for what would be cool. Conclusion: I know there are flaws with this list, but I think it is a good outline of things that would give new life to mods. I strongly encourage people to buy up zmod 2, or blender, and learn to 3d model. I myself am learning to 3d Model and it is bringing me great joy. Thanks to all who have been making and releasing all of the awesome content lately! Updated as of: 05/03/2020
  3. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here! Thankful for the awesome community here. Enjoy this update of the Tahoe, front end finished. Needs touching up bit it is good for now. Happy Holidays to all!
  4. Ah, so just cheat it out and make it un-noticeable from the top? I'll try it. My apologies, I will go around and delete the old topics.
  5. So I am working on my 4th Gen Tahoe and I am in a little bit of a predicament. I am currently filling in the grill portion, but as you can see in the photo, the polys of the grill and bumper, do not line up with those of the hood. A mistake I made a while back not thinking ahead. I could just re-do the hood, making more polys, but that would also mean I'd have to re-do the roof, (adding lots more polys to the total model count) a lot of work I feel can be avoided, I just do not know how. Anyone able to help?
  6. Me either http://www.emergency-planet.com/uploads/emoticons/default_wink.png Thank you very much goog. Means a lot coming from you guys! I am having a lot of fun with it, you can expect more from me to come.
  7. Front Bumper: Check. Nothing big, but some progress.
  8. Looks cool, a lot of potential, and would be something unique and fresh!
  9. This is going to be awesome!
  10. Update: Sorry for the lack of progress, my zmod license expired, and school had been busy as always. Do not worry, I am still very eager to finish the project, I am having some paypal issues but once I resolve this, the train will start moving again!
  11. Same thing happens to me. "Alright I am gonna do 1, 2, and 3." *Ends up doing only #1" It happens. Keep it up though.
  12. Thank you very much Itchboy. You have played a humongous role in getting me to where I am. Without all of the support and answers you have given me, this would not be at the level it is. So again, thank you!!!
  13. Out of nowhere with a map development update??? Absolutely amazing, keep it up, mod looks promising. Is there any way you could update the photos of vehicles from when the topic was first started? They are no longer available and many of us would like to see them now that the mod is kind up coming back to light.
  14. Made lots of revisions, I am really liking the results. Working on front end tonight. Sorry for being behind schedule, school has been a hassle.
  15. Ah, limits, thank you, will try and hopefully fix that error.
  16. Alright, will work on it with the childs. On the end of conflicting commands, what exactly do you mean? How would I fix that.
  17. I have read other topics on this, found some useful information, but have not fixed my plethora of issues, so here I go: I attempted installing the stryker script from Montana 2.1 (Will be for private use only), as well as the spineboard script. I am having a few issues: When the paramedic is selected, the icon to get spineboard, or the icon to get emt bag (on ffemt's) flashes repeatedly over the top-left command icon which is usually the box that is clicked to get tools/items. When clicking this box, there is not emt bag/spineboard command in the menu. Next, when commanding a medic to get stryker, he runs over to ambo, and his hands move into the postition like he has the stretcher, but there is no stretcher model present, just nothing, not even a missing model dummy. He is unable to lift patients, but he can drop the stretcher, which then shows the stryker in the down-folded position. He can pick it up again, but the same thing happens. Note: I have getspineboard, and getstryker assigned to my personnel, and I have dummyhasstryker and dummyhasspineboard assigned to my ambos. Can anyone help me with this, I want to get my mod in playable shape before I begin work on my Tahoe model again.
  18. Great to hear, thank you for the answer. Work is looking absolutely amazing. Well considering LA Mod 2.1 is released, you do not have to. Haha I see what you were saying, cannot either.
  19. Regardless, I am sure it will still be awesome. Current as possible is definitely what we want and is what you have brought so far. Cannot wait for release! Another question to add to the one I had earlier, will the LAPD Rescue 4, the MedCat, have any special functions relating to it being a medcat? (Being able to remove an injured person?) I know you guys are focusing on vehicle replacement right now but I was wondering if that was a plan/idea.
  20. Yeah, I think they might do a LAFD Brush Patrol. I do not think this is a 2017 though. If they are going to do a brush patrol I think it would be super cool to do something like the HMMWV, just unique. Also, the NYPD uses 2017 F550's for their ESU REP trucks. Not a fire department, but an agency.
